Mists Of Pandaria Mounts

I don't really think the onyx will be a dungeon drop, since only alliance characters can use it. No idea if horde will get one that looks the same, or something completely different... didn't see anything that was horde-only. Maybe a JC faction mount?

As I understand there will be a faction of cloud serpents, so I guess that mount will be like the wintersaber faction.

No, no... the kitty is alliance only, but the dragon I think will be a neutral faction, like... hmm... steamwheedle cartel?

I was replying to Arwyn's post about if there would be a vendor for the dragon or if we have to raise them, like, the wintersaber and venomhide (?) mounts.

Yeah, that kitty looks awesome, so I hope the horde will get something equally awesome. The jade serpent has nothing that states only one faction can use it. Haven't seen anything about the yak as far as I've looked on MMO

Since when was the cat Alliance only? I assumed it would be a jewelcrafting mount and there's been nothing official at all about it being Alliance only.

The cloud serpent and the onyx panther look amazing though, really great new models they have there. I like the yak too but I'm not a huge fan of bulkier mounts.

Edit: Lol right as I posted this I hovered over the icon listing the Alliance races only. That sucks. Hopefully there's a Horde version too... Hopefully with less disco-crazy gems. (x

Yeah.. I was thinking maybe a gemmified raptor? Since wolves are used pretty much (like horsies on the alliance side) a raptor could be a way to go, maybe? Would love to see one anyway

To be honest I'm kinda sick of not being able to use many cat mounts on Horde-side... cause I love cats lol. I hope they change their minds or something. :/

Yeah I ain't gonna lie, I wish Horde could have cats too. The only way we can is if we where lucky enough to get that ZA tiger which is retired, so now we are left with either the Spectral Tiger (haha yeah right...) or that Zulian Panther.

Oh and I guess the Winged Guardian...but those 3 are all Alliance available too.

Works for me! I don't mind a few options! I'm not a huge kitty-mount fan, but that one....I wanted it.

Note that there's about half a dozen different colours for that gem panther mount in the MoP database. Red, blue, yellow, etc. So it's possible Horde will get a different colour of the same mount. It's also possible that BOTH factions get the SAME mount (perhaps with slightly different armour) but from different sources, so they'll eventually have a different icon for both.

I'd post pics of the other colours, but Wowmodelviewer doesn't work with MoP yet. I'll try to do some creative editing tonight and see if I can get it working with the old database
