Pets named after cartoon characters.

First, sorry if this is in the wrong place.

Has anyone ever named their pet after a cartoon character? Or had their friend tame a pet so you could have a pet duo named after cartoon characters? I'm wondering because, I tamed a brain bug on my level 70 Tauren Hunter, and named it "TheBrain". Then, I looked at my friend who helped me, and said "I should totaly tame this guy on our main server and then you can tame a pet and name it Pinky!" So, i went and tamed the same brain bug on my main hunter, and my friend went to start camping Mazzy, to name her "Pinky". Hopefully soon we'll be running around with Pinky and TheBrain! So, anyone else name their pet after cartoon characters?

P.S: Yes, I know a lot of people have named their King Krush Yoshi

*raises hand* I name my pets after characters all the time. MARVEL, anime, you name it...xD

When we adopted two kittens from the same litter, we named them Satsuki (quickly shortened to Suki) and Mei after the sisters in My Neighbor Totoro.

I'm a huge cartoon geek. My stable is presently made up of 'pets with non-English names' (I'm on a European server; it started as a running joke that became a theme) but I've had all *sorts* in my lower levels. And even my 'challenge hunter' had Ryouga the windserpent, who had some very odd pathing issues.

I have a hunter named Kiba with a pet named Akamaru, and another hunter named Dora with a pet named Boots.

i have my ghost saber named meowth from pokemon, my Olm the wise named Artiuno, Sambas named Don Leon from a ps2 games called ar Tonelico

Is this in reference to Ranma 1/2 by any chance? If it is ... YOU SO TOTALLY ROCK!!! The spelling is different than the actual character's but the "odd pathing issues" makes for a perfect description.

I've been playing around with the idea of a whole Ranma 1/2 theme for a hunter. I just love the series so gosh darn much!

I've used names from Final Fantasy 10 for some of my Blood Elf's pets: Evrae (windserpent), Ifrit (warpstalker), and Valefor (dragonhawk).

I also named my Tauren's turtle JubJub which was inspired from the name of Aunt Selma's pet iguana from the TV show, The Simpsons.

Loque's name is Fang, after the character from Maximum Ride, dunno if that counts.

My alt Drescher's raptor's name is Renji, after the character from Bleach.

I want to change a lot of my pet's names so there will most likely be others soon.

Sian-rotam, my only surviving vanilla tame (not counting retames), is Kimba, the title character of a tv anime series I enjoyed as an infant in the early 70s...

Skoll is Zeke wolf (a Disney comics regular, originally from the 3 little pigs)

The Beast from UBRS is Beastly from the Care Bears...

Karkin is Eugene (Mr. Krabs from Spongebob)...

Skarr is Irons, an oblique reference to the Lion King (Jeremy Irons voiced Scar)
