I'm not sure if the NDA covers not being able to tell others that you got into the Beta. Either way, I think lifted tomorrow anyways.

It does, if they tell you that is basically breaching the NDA. But we're bffs and its not like I am going to be all "OMG ITS THIS PERSON OVER HERE!"

IDK about it being lifted today, I do know that by the time pre-purchase comes out (apr 10th) it should be much closer to being lifted at least. c: As pre-purchasers get 100% access to future betas.

Well, CE is a pre-order. Not a pre-purchase.

Pre-purchase benefits are only for digital copies. x: The BF suggested that we get a digital deluxe version for me, and we can buy a physical copy and use that key for him because he isn't as bothered about starting 3 days early. And I still get my physical pretties 8D

There was a leak of some cash shop items. A quick note should be that all of these items can be obtained through ingame gold. It may just take a little bit longer to get the gold depending on how fast you can earn it.

Well either way come april 10th iirc they said they'd out collectors edition up for pre-purchase... Either way thats what I'm getting.

At first they didn't have prepurch available for the CE, glad they changed it. c:

Most of the items in the shop are same ol asme ol, vanity clothing...char slots...bank tabs.

I am annoyed at seeing a world chat item though, and exp boosts. That is something new from them.

I was gonna get the CE, and if they'd added a fancy dance like with all the others I still would. But honestly I don't really want or have the space for all the RL stuff, so I decided to get the digideluxe. but it turns out i know an core tester (who wouldn't tell me the secrets D: but that's okay) and we were talking about all the benefits, and I've honestly just decided to get the regular edition. With the exception of the mini Rytlock and the golem banker all the bonus DD items are one-use only (banker lasts 5 days, woooo...?). I was kind of disappointed at first, but I'll have all the stuff from the HOM and I can use the extra money on character slots and gems.

The NDA will probably be up for a while, though; Asura/Sylvari areas are still very unfinished. As excited as I am to get into all the betas, I'm kinda worried most of the people who play it aren't going to be playing it as a beta tester, but more like 'omg I get a sneak peek!' which is okay but more of a tester mindset will help them sort things out sooner.

But I'm okay with that too because I'm buying my friend a copy (which is also another bonus to not paying more for the DD/CE 8D) and I'm so ready to have a game to play with all my online friends. And PVP, omg I'm having PVP withdrawals. I'm also really stoked to say I've managed to weasel my way in with some of the more well-known WoW PVPers - I have yet to figure out HOW but whatevs - so it should be even more fun :B I can't even wait, omg.

I'm so pumped to preorder, too. I've never been so willing to throw a company all my money bahaha. But I loved the original GW, and I love and have a lot of faith in ArenaNet. They're incredibly passionate about this game, and NCSoft isn't really trying to control what they do at all, which means it won't turn into something like EAware or ActiBlizzard.

It makes me feel kinda like a hipster, rofl; I'm so happy to be one of the few people who can brag that I played the original game for such a long time (it's actually landing me a spot on what will be a Youtube series that discusses GW and GW2, they couldn't find anyone who'd played the original though. Score!) but at the same time I'm almost bitter that so many people are like OMG GW2 without caring about the original. Oh well, ANet and GW2 deserve the attention without a doubt.

Guild wars 2 is like Fallout 3. I mean most people who played Fallout 3 never played fallout 1 & 2 or heck even knew of them :lol:

Yee it's such a good story; looks like it's going to have a similar story aspect to SWTOR (though less strong, which is okay because SWTOR felt more like a single player RPG to me) but still have a lot of the MMO aspect that WoW has, which is eeeexcellent since GW wasn't very MMO-y unless you were in an outpost haha.

Hopefully if this youtube thing happens we'll be able to get into the lore, since I'm really wanting to get that out there for everyone. I'm actually thinking about making a Proph character and just playing that to the end of EotN. I can skip NF/Factions since they don't really impact GW2 currently. Maybe I can record that and upload it in pieces or somethig.

I had played characters through them and had my OLD account.. Which sucks because I couldnt get my old account back, it was an old email which I've now forgotten. I have a new one I was playing for a while though and wouldnt you know it I forgot the pw to that one. That and kinda let it fall to the side because the origial GW's are so full of little kids on the massively level now its insane. -_-
