Farmed 500 on 2 characters. I can't believe I collected 1000 eggs and it never dropped in an egg....

Farmed....at least 600 eggs. I think closer to 700, but I lost count. :lol:

Enough for the mount and the 100 chocolate achievement, plus several pets, etc.

But at least, he is mine!

I had to farm all 500 eggs which I did in less than 24 hours. (Spanned over a day.) I was happy to finally get it but I still fear as I finish collecting eggs to finish the Chocoholic achievement I am going to get one in an egg in which I will have to /ragequit for a day or two. lol

Just remember if you end up with extra chocolates, you can stock up on mini-pets and clothes to sell on the AH during the off season!

I had to pick up 500 eggs. This morning it was really quiet in BH Village, so I picked up 300 without stress in a couple of hours....

I got it yesterday Alliance-side on Anniah the hard way (eggs). Farmed Goldshire during the night, then switched to Azure Watch during the day, and it was fairly easy albeit hand-tiring. I'm trying to get it Horde-side on Mindala as well.

I don't really *love* the mount since it doesn't really go with any of my characters' color schemes, but it's a nice thing to work for!

This year was terrible on Wyrmrest Accord. I tried every horde town and even at Falconwing Square which usually has no one looking for eggs every single spawn point was being camped. Yus, every single egg spawn point was being camped by a player. It was ridiculous. Pink bunnies everywhere!

Razor Hill was ok until I kept on getting emote spammed for "stealing" eggs since I was running around. Even had someone follow me around and he would sit on his flying mount on eggs I was trying to click on. =/ I ended up going to Bloodhoof and parked myself at a place where three eggs spawned closely together and got my last chocolates for the mount. Finally!

I've just finished getting the full achievement for the holiday, opened at least 800 eggs. I refuse to buy one until the last day of the holiday just in case I find one in an egg. I keep doing the dailies just because they are there to do.

Also as a "run around" kind of egg hunter I find the whole collecting process really fun, love nicking an egg from under a camper's nose too. Had a few people QQ at me for "stealing" told them to shut up and be faster with clicking. My favourite location is in Kharanos, the eggs are easy to get to and find a good clean route through. Found Dolanaar to be a pain with all the bushes, trees and hilly bits.

It's quite frustrating being a devoted mount hunter and seeing loads of squeals and shouts from /g and /1 from people who were just collecting for the choc achi or the daily. I'm just glad we can buy the thing at least!

Why don't I buy it and leave the whole thing at that? Well I just LOVE seeing purple letters drop in my inventory! It's like finding a shiny pokemon!

I farmed the strider on 4 toons, I had to buy it on the first three of them and it dropped for the 4th toon in the 530th egg (needed 100 for the eating achiev).
I never thought I'd like this mount, it's pretty plain for my taste, but actually it looks quite good with the dress and the bunny ears on Findu

Aha... after saying I'd wait till the last day I ended up giving in and purchasing my Springstrider on my main.

Really wanted it to drop from an egg, collected over 800 of them total.

Of course WoW's RNG being SO lovely I go onto my DK alt on the last day of Noblegarden, an alt whom I have very little interest on collecting with and look what happens.

Under 200 eggs and I was mere moments away from logging out to go to the pub, which would have meant I would return well after midnight, after the holiday had finished. I was collecting for the easy to gain chocolate eating achievements and ended up buying the rabbit to go with it.

I won't lie, it goes really well with my Draenai and I'm glad she found one, nowhere near enough time to farm the 500 chocolates if she didn't! Still... damn you RNG!
