Hey guys, if you Watch this guys stream, http://www.twitch.tv/brotatoe he plays a hunter and spec'd into Call Beast. Right now it's bugged and it has no cool down so it's pretty fun to watch hehe.

Soo... this call beast, what will determine the beast that will be attacking? I saw a video on youtube, and there were only about 4 different ones that appeared. But I guess it has nothing to do with your hunters stable?

I like the variety of the different abilities, they all seem to fill the same niche (burst damage ability) so any spec hunter can use any of them.

However, I am quite disappointed with Call Beast.
As cool as the ability is (summoning a second pet to help you) I am not sure why they can't set it up so you call another pet from your stable, or even just use that as the basis for the summoned beasts skin instead of the extremely limited skin choice for the spell currently. (two tiger, and a beetle skin)

I understand that this is just the first preview of the ability, and I am sure that it will be modified, changed, or even removed in the future, but I will hold out hope that this ability will look better than it currently does when the expansion finally comes out.

Also, did anyone notice how little damage his pet was doing (300ish non crit melee damage) in comparison to his ranged attacks (8-10k non crit ranged damage)?

Yes, beta is beta, but I am a bit surprised at just how low the pet damage was.

Glyph of Aspects - New: Each time you activate a new Aspect, an animal companion representing that Aspect will follow you for 15 sec.

Aspect of the Wild was not in the beta since day one, and almost all racials that gave spell resistance that I saw was reworked to be only 1% spell damage reduction. The only one that was still like on live was the worgen's. There's a new built coming soon so it might be something to check out to see if it changed.

I'm guessing it will be easier at lvl 90 with more health. Though there's also a glyph that reduce Tame Beast's casting time to 6 seconds. With that and the 100% haste buff we can get from one of the top floating rocks near Kirix's place, it shouldn't be that bad. :D

He doesn't have any fun on my server atm anyways. Everyone who's wanted him either has him or gave up, and all the 'rare-killers' know better... He's literally up everytime I enter the zone. NTM the zone is almost completely void now anyways.
