Edit:Ugh NEVERMIND.. found the problem LOL.. ugh.. i was trying to figure out why my Action Replay isnt working with Windows 7, its because it CANT. Its not compatible with it. Just as high as windows vista.

New Edit: OK! Lol, so, ive figured out i can upgrade the software to run on windows 7 BUT.... ive uninstalled and reinstalled several times now and have been following the guide from codejunkies BUT... i am not finding the name nor icon of the AR at all in the Device Manager.

If anyone's figured it out, please help......

I have an Action Replay DSI (it allows me to acquire codes to alter games played on the Nintendo DS products) and it wont work cause i dont have a driver for my USB Modem. I have absolutely no idea what any of this means, what to do, whats wrong, what i need to look for, its been like this since i first got the computer brand new. The operating system is Windows 7 if that means anything. I am only able to use my Ipod, Camera, and External Harddrives, Keyboard, and Mouse in my USB slots. Thusfar i havent used anything other then those in the slots aside from my Action Replay. I read a lot about something to do with a Device Manager but this is what i see when i go to that program:

-removed now unrelated pic :P-

--and nothing ive read (which is something about a yellow ? beside something but i really cant remember what i did manage to understand from the jumble of instructions they put down, i was randomly googling too so i dont know where the instructions were posted)

Why are you trying to connect your Cable Modem to your computer via USB ? Wouldn't an Ethernet cable be good enough ? Cable Modem is what gives you the net, I don't understand how it's related to Action Replay DS.

Im just trying to plug my Action Replay into my computer but its not reading it and no guides are helping me figure it out, i thought that the USB Cable Modem was the computer translation to the slots that storage drives or cameras or ipods are connected into

Edit: Ok, figured out the AR cant run naturally on windows 7 but learned it can with an update but im at a loss of how to due to the file missing completely in Device Manager.

Nope, Cable Modem is what it says it is. It's just a modem that gives you your internet. Have you tried running the program in compatibility mode ?

Right click on the program and click on properties, and then go to compatibility. That's how you would normally do it, however I don't really know much about Action Replay to know how to get even installed on your computer. You could always run a dual Operating System ?

I tried that compatability thing, its not that i cant install it, i can, but the action replay card (which plugs into the computer) isnt compatible with windows 7 and thus cant connect to the software, and for whatever reason, unfortunately trying to run it on compatibility with either the XP or Vista options that were offered, they dont work.. what's Dual Operating System?

You have a another copy window on your computer installed. You could install a copy windows vista or something older, without needing to delete Windows 7.

My computer came with W7 already its OS, do i have to buy the older versions?

Also, we tried running it on bf's old laptop which is Vista, and now my action replay has the red screen of doom.. i can fix it, however it needs to be able to connect to the computer to reset it... which leads back to problem no. 1..

i found a better guide that got me a lot farther but im stuck again..

this is the guide: http://www.datelcustomerservice.com/NDSi-AR-ARDSi.shtml

This is currently what it looks like (not my computer, but we both have W7 64-bit):

and this is what the driver is telling me:
