im cackling like a bat, those pictures of soul stealing quilien cubs are hilarious omg, they're great, but they dont give a very desired effect

Maybe that's why they included both...so there's twice as much chance you'll see something that's an in-game must-have. XD The art book itself would be enough for me, but I definitely want the in-game goodies, too!

I just realized another thing that's rather different, the mouth. The adults have a long mouth and the pups was like a bull dogs, lower and floppy jowls.

If you bring up and extent the mouth, it looks even more like a Quilen (cheeky grin and all

I think you're right, though the jowls kinda do give it a puppyish look. I like the cheeky grin you gave it, except maybe not that broad. Pups tend to have much littler mouths (and squashier snouts) than adults. The lengthened mouth can't help but make me think of...

I think this is strange, we never had a mount in the CE and the pet looks like an upgrade from perky pug.
Could it not be that the mount and pet are going to be sold in the Blizzard store?

No, its not that. Those items afaik were announced by blizz on their FB page. So those ARE the CE mount/pet items.

Bit late to give my opinion, I know, but I only saw this today because I've been in hospital and managed to escape for a few hours.

I'm really glad there's a mount for this CE, I have to say, because if it were down to the pet alone I would be very put off. It's... pretty scary. And I hate how the fur looks glued to the back, urg. I'm getting sick of 'ugly' cub pets, to be honest. I think the last one that was actually cute for the sake of being cute rather than cute for being so ugly was the Wind Rider Cub. The mount pleases me a lot because I was worried it would have no armour and I'm already not 100% fond of Quilen based on their squished-up faces. But the armour makes it look really good! If that thing is gunna fly, I hope the animation for it looks good. Otherwise I'll use it as a ground mount only I reckon. Phew. Fairly pleased over all, just won't be using the pet. At all. Ever.

Agreed agreed agreed~ I'm getting super tired of all the 'cute' pets, especially the cubs xD they look more demented than cute imo.

It reminds me of a LPS puppy the more I look at it.

Cute as it is, I do agree that vanity pets are getting to "dummied" down. I think they might be trying to do a fail imitation of MLP, which is very popular atm.

I'd like to see vanity pets more serious in appearance. WoW is not an anime, nor is it a "little" kiddy game (despite the number of children who play it now)

I do think the puppy is cute, and I really like it, but on the other hand I am getting a little tired of the anime imitation pets.
