Since everyone else seems to be showing off their art, I thought I'd start showing some of what I do in my sparse spare time.
I use CE4 and a bamboo tablet. Both of which I am only learning how to use (tips/pointers appreciated). So, pleace dont mind the poor line-work. I draw much better on paper (which I'll probably post some of that to)

I've been a chronic drawer since I was first able to hold a crayon, and all my school work from K-University have little doodles popping up in random places. I fell out of practice shortly after failing my last semester (~6yrs ago) and joining the grueling real world of work and bills. Then I met my first (and still current) love, and we had our daughter (now 2yrs old) So now that I have a bit more time (at least while Treehouse is on or when she's asleep) I've been able to pick up my pencil and start drawing again.

Those are really good. Way better than I could ever do lol. I really like the dog.

Very nice. And I love the dog too. His tapering, curly tail reminds me of a wolfhound or something

All the bright colors in the puppy picture makes me happy whenever I see it.

In contrast to happy puppy, I drew this the other night while watching "The secret world of Arrietty."
I've plans of inking/coloring it when I get a bit better at using the tablet.



Was cleaning behind the couch and found a large black travel bag, something of a cross between a suitcase and a laptop bag...its full of old art stuff!!

hmmm, I think I need to do more art...lol. Well, here's my newest one:
I am actually really happy with this character, His name is Drihtan. He is a Luxray that is championing for Darkrai in the "Fall of the god's" RP. atm he has yet to make his appearance, but he's just about ready to make himself known!

thanks the face is by far my favorite part. hmmm trying to figure out why I double posted the picture with different comments...hmmmm...
Anyhow here is my other character for the same RP:
Taabuna, the Eelektross who's patron is Groudon. This one I just scanned and colored testing out my new scanner, so I didn't actually ink it yet...once I do an inked one and proper coloring then I'll post that as well.

A birthday gift for my Friend or her Druid and feral forms, the background in Rajh from Hall of Origination in Uldum. It was fun getting to Rajh on my hunter to nab the screen shots...He takes awhile to do his idle animation

Won some Marandian breed horses on a DA valentine's raffle. Two i have already received their designs, the 3rd I am still waiting on. More info can be found on my DeviantArt

Meet Blakkabar! He's a wip that's currently waiting for the raffle to end. If I win him then he will become a Cerva (kinda like a jackelope but with a feathered tail and magic) if I don't win him, then I'll give him a normal tail. I am really happy with this boy :3

I suppose I don't understand what this raffle is that you speak of. What do you mean, you win those? Are they your illustrations or someone else's? I mean, they look awesome, I'm just totally confused on whose style I should be complimenting.

Haha, well I entered a raffle for some foals and won 3 of the them. The creator linked me a picture of the foals I'd won and I had to redraw them and register them within 1-2 months, so these pictures here are my drawings based on their designs. But the pictures Drew above are completely my own work, the only thing that isn't mine is the actual design concept.

These are the Foals I won and had to redraw:
Marula Cream (the brown one)
King of Hearts
Ujanu

The Cerva/Rabbit is based off of #6 on this Raffle. But I took more liberty with the design and made him look more jackrabbit then fluffy bunny.


I also don't generally use anything for references when doing my line-art. I usually just sit on the couch watching TV and doodling, and if I sketch something I like, I clean it up a bit, scan it into my computer then redo the lines using my art tablet, then color it in as needed. I'd probably be able to do better work if I actually used references, lol.

Ahh, okay. That's pretty cool, I had never heard of such a thing.

I really like your Cerva! It almost looks like it has the beginnings of wings on its forelegs.
