55... yes fifty-five! ... reputations later...

55 reputations later, we FINALLY got our guild some Dark Phoenixes.

Such a cute widdle thing he is, yes he is *snuggle*.

I should probably clarify...
there are exactly 3 people in the guild, a couple, and myself.

none of us PvP, we obviously can't easily raid as a group.

we decided to divvy up the reps and go logically and steadily at it. I'm proud of us :-)

thank-you Lupis.

we DID have some fun with mildly challenging dungeon reps (Uldum for example), since we aren't raid geared or anything, basically mostly quest rewards and some crafted gear.

we've been trio-ing older raids, like Temple of Anqiraj, and recently started doing Black Temple. We've done a few Pandaria scenarios, but those are very challenging for us.. we're really not high-end players.

Anyway, I'm very excited. I never thought I'd actually see my little shadowy Phoenix pet.

Now to find a matching Hunter pet.. I have no inspiration for now.

Congrats and awesome work. My guild also is exactly three people. And last month we finally reached level 25. Lots of Twink-levelling and random heroics (during Cata and now Pandaria) with all 3 of us brought xp and gold.
We're still working on the phoenix hatchling. We have 40 factions by now. 15 more to go and the only ones left are the classic and buring crusade hard-ones... So I draw my hat in front of you!

As for a matching hunterpet what do you think of:

thank-you all , again.

hmmm, maybe a dark-coloured owl might work?

I have the purple Tallstrider hunter pet on one of my hunter alts, to go with her pet Darkmoon Strider mini-pet and her Darkmoon Tallstrider mount.

My main hunter has mostly been using Akroniss, which is about as close in "texture" as I could find to the little Phoenix Hatchling pet from Isle of Queldaenas and the Ashes of Alar mount we were lucky enough to have drop on our very first venture inside that raid.

one of the things that helped IMMENSELY was the reputation-boosting commendations for Pandaria factions.

as SOON as you hit revered with any Pandaria factions, go buy those, they double your rep from quests.

They double your rep with *everything*. Not just quests. You can pick up those commendations from the Scouts and you get double the numbers from them. :)

oh, the commendation I referred to is the "grand commendation", the one which doubles rep for all toons on the account for that faction. you buy that once, from the quartermaster for that faction.

Yeah, I knew what you meant. But those commendations you refer to double *all* reputation gains. Frmo quests, from killing things (if those things give rep), and from the commendations. Probably from the daily rep gains from dungeons as well.

ok, I get what you're saying...
since I pretty much only do quests, I was only noticing that. I haven't really started killing any mobs that give rep (that I've noticed).

Wow! That's a lot of work for three people! Congrats!

I thought of this pet when you mentioned you were looking for something matching.

that's an excellent suggestion Rhapture.
I DO have that pet on one or two of my secondary hunters, I always thought it was really beautiful, even if it is the "common" version of that particular species.
