Re: A Cancer Journal
I just want to thank each and everyone of you for all the years we've spent together here on the forums. WoW has helped me cope and escape reality when I've needed it the most while these forums give me a home and community where I can geek-out over my obsession for all things hunter and hunter pet related! I don't know a single one of you personally but I consider you all friends in a way. Some of you I adore and some of you I want to wrestle down to the ground and sit on like the bratty little sisters and brothers that you are
I had an ultrasound recently that indicated more abnormal growth in my neck. I haven't talked to my endo doctor yet but I believe I will need more radiation and possibly a round of chemo this time. I'm not sure if surgery will help but I'll know soon enough I suppose.
I will not be an active participant here on the forums anymore but I plan to lurk every now and again to check up on things. As of now, I'm keeping my WoW account active so I can still play on my better days. I have a bucketlist of things I'd like to do for my characters on Nesingwary so perhaps some of you may see me pop in from time to time!

Re: A Cancer Journal
I've been participating more in the forums, as I'm attempting to make somewhat of a quiet comeback. It couldn't have come at a better time in my opinion, as I'm really loving the new Legion expansion!
I look forward to hearing about everybody's taming adventures on The Broken Isles. Happy Hunting Everyone!

Re: A Cancer Journal
Blood tests have been ordered. CAT Scan to come in the next couple of weeks. Depending on how that goes, I may have to do a bone marrow biopsy.
I know my endo wants to do another ultrasound of my neck in March or April ... so there's that as well.

Re: A Cancer Journal
I think I'll be ok. I think. I don't really know for sure. Right now I'm alternating between feelings of numbness and gut-wrenching depression. I won't know anything for sure for about another month or so ... still, it doesn't appear I have the best track record when it comes to these sorts of matters.
I'm going to try a few things in the meantime to help pick myself up out of this little pity party I'm stuck in ... like more exercise if my chronic pain and fatigue will allow (swimming & light yoga) and getting back into reading on days when I'm bedridden. Just gotta keep my mind busy you know.
