Re: Legion pet lists
Looks like I'll be using some Kibler Bits on some of the brand-new Tameables. Can't wait for new Exotics!

Re: Legion pet lists
Was in Magister's Terrace yesterday in the time walking dungeon grinning from ear to ear seeing the mana wyrms in there. Just kept saying "Soon my pretties. Soon."
I do find myself slightly upset that clean yaks cannot be tamed. lol

Re: Legion pet lists
Has anyone checked if Oondansta, Thok, Tortos and the remaining Pandaria Beast Bosses are Tameable?
I've been checking throughout the forums with no avail =(
I recall Blizzard promised us to tame them after WoD.

Re: Legion pet lists
Yeah I've checked those in this patch. None of them are tameable yet. Hopefully they'll do a pass of Panda stuff during beta, it is up to that stage now.Ayazaki1218 wrote:Has anyone checked if Oondansta, Thok, Tortos and the remaining Pandaria Beast Bosses are Tameable?

I got up to Tortos to check by using the bugged exploding Tekton, who will probably be fixed by the next patch.

Re: Legion pet lists
How much resets with PTR patches? If you can't extend raidlocks, you could try queueing LFR ToT (in the Lorewalker room in vale of eternal blossoms). Tortos is the first boss of her wing.Wain wrote: I got up to Tortos to check by using the bugged exploding Tekton, who will probably be fixed by the next patch.

Oh I never thought of that. Brilliant!Xota wrote:How much resets with PTR patches? If you can't extend raidlocks, you could try queueing LFR ToT (in the Lorewalker room in vale of eternal blossoms). Re: Legion pet lists
I do hope we get to tame the pandaria bosses and armored dinos, as well as skyscreamers and pterrorwings , and those new Roc creatures, the ones who look like a dread rave got drunk with a protoceratops
Re: Legion pet lists
I've seen at least one roc that could be beast lored and had a diet. But the scaling bug prevented me from taming it. Now there's a 110 realm out hopefully I can try to tame them once I get back home. Hopefully they can be!Zulmalakhan wrote:I do hope we get to tame the pandaria bosses and armored dinos, as well as skyscreamers and pterrorwings , and those new Roc creatures, the ones who look like a dread rave got drunk with a protoceratops

Re: Legion pet lists
Haha, that's exactly how I described them when we first saw the pictures! I agree, I think it'd be really cool to tame them.Zulmalakhan wrote:I do hope we get to tame the pandaria bosses and armored dinos, as well as skyscreamers and pterrorwings , and those new Roc creatures, the ones who look like a dread rave got drunk with a protoceratops
Perhaps beasts with diets are Blizzard's way of saying "One day... you'll be able to tame these."
Re: Legion pet lists
I swapped the sheep and squirrel mechanicals over to use the new images. It appears they've been bulk-switched in the game to use the lovely new models (as kind of expected). The organic sheep surrounding Tekton also use the new sheep models. They're really good

Re: Legion pet lists
Exciting news for Draenic entomologists.
The sandreavers along the shores of Talador have lately been exhibiting rare colour variations.
The Sandreaver Drone is occasionally appearing stripeless, in a plain yellow:
The Sandreaver also occsionally loses its dorsal stripe, appearing in a lovely plain orange:
The lighting in the above shot unfortunately dulls the orange a bit.
Perhaps most excitingly (for me) the Sandreaver Matriarchs in the same region occasionally express elevated levels of a blue pigment, shifting them from plain pink to vivid indigo:
In all cases, these variants appear to be a bit less common than the established colours, but not horribly so. I saw some of the rarer Sandreavers and Drones on the first pass of the beach, and a blue Matriarch on the second.
What this means is all colours of sandreaver will be available in Legion

Re: Legion pet lists
So the red saddled clefthoof is definitely returning! In Legion, the Reassigned Warbeast seems to be an occasional spawn among the Emberhide Warbeasts etc. on the Harbor area in Tanaan Jungle. It's definitely not a frequent spawn. I saw it the first time I went there but not in the hours since.
Update: I've now seen it twice and both in exactly the same spot: just inside the entrance to the Harbor area, there's a rise to the left with a clefthoof (I think it was the pack one) and some orcs on it. The Reassigned can spawn up there.

Re: Legion pet lists
Excellent news on all accounts! I like your presentation of the rarer morphs/subspecies of sandreavers, and it's good to know that the saddled clefthoof is coming back. I always liked pets that look like they can double as mounts.

Re: Legion pet lists
Not sure if it's been reported yet, but the Mechachicken on the Lost Isles (only enemy Rocket Chicken I know of) is not tameable. Grinded to level 10 to check.
(Unless they haven't implemented Mechanicals being automatically tameable for Goblins yet... Didn't see anything in the spellbook for it at least.)

Re: Legion pet lists
Oh, good work on trying that at least! I must have missed the Lost Isles one. I'll find it and add it to the list, even if it's not tameable.Bambu wrote:Not sure if it's been reported yet, but the Mechachicken on the Lost Isles (only enemy Rocket Chicken I know of) is not tameable. Did you Beast Lore it first? Even if goblins can't tame mechanicals yet (honestly haven't checked) the NPC should at least show if it's tameable or not.

Re: Legion pet lists
Beast Lore is at level 12 unfortunately. Will grind a bit more and try it out. Just can't complete any more quests, on the one to kill the Mechachicken at the moment, worried that if I complete it she'll despawn.Wain wrote:Oh, good work on trying that at least! Re: Legion pet lists
YOU GUYS I FOUND SOMETHING IN HIGHMOUNTAIN, SCREENCAPS COMING!!! WILL EDIT!
Full Album
Unfortunately, the too high to tame-bug.
So, more details: It's like the MoP Tracking Rares, look for it's "footprints" AKA "small puddles of oil", just like the MoP tracks.
Am I the first to discover this?
