LF Advice Thread

Unread post by Ana »

As requested making a thread where FR users can ask for advice on everything they need :D

Once i figure out how i make it a sticky thread

Aaaand i might as well start it off by asking if making a name sign with a blind stick for Stick would be offensive ? What he is named after is in his description and the pair will be named Blind justice..

I got his name sakes (once she is born) sign down as that was eazy but unsure about Stick´s

Advice and suggestions welcome

I think it would be fine Tarn, you're not making fun so nobody really should be offended.

Title should read Advise me on :)

I'd say you're fine to design his sign how you like, especially since it sounds like you have something in his bio for it. :)

This is the intended namesign. The dots underneath his name is Brail writing for Stick

Personally I think it's really cute Tarn. OH MAH GOSH.
Would having a accent made for him to have a little cane be going too far?
I think it would be cute.

Advise me on:

So I am really really torn. I have a gen 2 imp girl who I love but am I tiny bit bored with only because when I do to gene her I end up spending the genes on someone else then get too broke to gene her.
I decided to post an interest check on her.
Expecting nothing (since not a single gen one garnered any interest) I pinged those on the list specifically for gen two imps.
BOOM tons of interest. Blew my mind.

Now I am super super torn. As I said I love her and am still somewhat attached to her but I am now torn because so many people showed interest I don't want to disappoint them and be that girl who changed her mind.

Thoughts?

I actually feel you on this one, I've been considering selling mine too. All I can say if you can honestly tell yourself you are going to gene her and love her then keep her otherwise sell.

I know I've found when I have those kinds of dragons, zed, that I usually decide to let them go. No matter how much I tell myself I love them and will gene them, I never get around to it and they just sit around. In my mind that's always a space I could use for a dragon I actually want with genes I already want on it and let the one I was waffling over go. Worst case scenario is that you sell it to a decent person and ask to buy it back if you find yourself really missing her in your lair. :)

I was going to find mates for them both in their egg group but I decided to see what their babies would look like
Image
 I really like how they came out and now I'm torn between breed changing Viridios or suffering through that one month nest timer. :(

Wow they do make cute babies! That's a tough call and, unfortunately, I'm not much help since I'm terrible at saving up money for breed changes (that aren't starter ones) so I'd either tough it out and leave them as mates (I have quite a few pairs like that ) or find them each mates with closer CDs. But that's just me because I'm lazy!

I don't though? I said right in my post I have all kinds of couples that don't have their CD's matched up. It doesn't bother me as much as it bothers some people; I just said what I would consider doing in their case. :P
