Both agreeable yet also somewhat counterintuitive to the initial idea. We hunt and want these things to become the most stylish, and it only speaks louder the sooner you have them. But you definitely have a very valid point. however, the rate at which they will die down will be....very unreliable as they will be popular and are in high traffic area. You will have to get lucky and have patience.

You can't hunt and tame them if they are being killed the moment they spawn, or you are being killed by the opposite faction.

This one is thanks to Miacoda. I managed to hop to a realm where only 1 other AFK Hunter was camping. Mia showed up w/ her raptor and gave me the rest of her luck. The feather spawned a couple minutes later. Also I was about to give up (after seeing a previous spawn killed earlier, on a different server) right before Mia showed up.

Someone on my server told me he tamed the gryphon and then 3 hours later his friend tamed it again.. so i dont know whats going on with the timers

I end up waiting 5+ hours for nothing. Haven't seen anything. :c On this or the raptor.

Thank you so so so much for Justmango-Sargeras for randomly logging in and barging into our camp Fest. They advertised a completely dead server there alt was on and invited me into it...it was a gamble but... not 20 minutes later the feather spawned.

I'd love to get aid with the Gryphon if possible, being horde makes it so difficult. If you're not killed on sight, then you're just not around to see the feather up. :cry:

Friday morning it spawn in front of me... I was distracted by a phone call when it spawned... I may never see it again...
I've been camping since midnight Thursday... and I've got over 20 hours under my belt...


And just to vent a bit...
Screw CRZ! I lost count how many times i was alone camping just to have 5-6 hunters spawn on top of me...

Well geee, next time someone yells Horde favoritism I'll just link them to where this guy spawns. It's not like they couldn't have put this one somewhere else like with the dwarfs in the Hinterlands, you know somewhere a Horde won't get sniped camping for it on a PvE server. I really feel sorry for any Horde wanting this one, the ally on my server just sit there waiting for a Horde to land. :| :mrgreen:

I got killed a dozen times by 2 different hunters while sitting on the ledge :( . *word redacted* with no respect. I got mine 2 days ago.

Managed to get my birb last night, with help from a fellow hunter.

Stood camping it for like 5+ hours...heck, 3 of the alli friended me during the camp!

Then a fellow hordie gave me a tip that worked for her, and after 2 tries worked for me too!

Log out, log in on a diff server, log out, then back in on your camper.

This can change your phase. ((I'm sure many know of this...but I figured I'd state it for those that don't XD)

I did this once and got a server with a swarmed spawn....2nd try it was just me and the person that gave me the tip...and the feather. And now I have my gryphon!

Scratch my post about wanting to tame him, I got him just a bit ago on Wyrmrest Accord.
