Added abyss worms as unused looks
I decided to add four unused looks to the Serpents family, representing the new "sea serpent" model. This non-mount version of the model doesn't appear to be used in the game wilds yet (at least that has been reported), so the creature is probably currently only used for two mounts. But because the mount versions can fly and breathe air I see no reason these can't be considered as future tameable beasts.

They could be grouped in the with the serpents next to manan wyrms. Hopefully Blizzard will change their minds down the road.

Yeah, despite being non-ethereal they have similarities to the mana and arcane worms. Closer than any of them are to regular ground serpents anyway, so I think they're a good fit
I hope they appear in the wild.

That red one is freakin' awesome! 0: It looks like a nightmare creature.

I'm still holding out hope for the python models to be made tameable at some point. I'd love love love to have a giant coral snake by my side!

The issue with them is that they have very limited animations. For example, when they "bite" you, they aren't actually opening their mouths at all. Before they are made into a pet, more work would have to be done.Bluefire wrote:I'm still holding out hope for the python models to be made tameable at some point. Re: Added abyss worms as unused looks
They aren't in the wild per se, but one of them is summoned by the female naga boss in tomb. So there is a mob that uses it that isn't the mount.
Dunno if they'd allow us to tame them considering they use the cloud serpent model though (which I'd die for)
Dang that red one is nice though... why do they always make such nice recolors yet release the uglier ones. maybe we'll see it one day

Fortunately they don't actually share a model. They just use the same animation rig. Lots of tameable and untameable things share animation rigsLupen202 wrote:Dunno if they'd allow us to tame them considering they use the cloud serpent model though (which I'd die for)
