Retirement quests

Unread post by Sukurachi »

Obviously, spoilers if you haven't done the quests that appeared today.

You were warned.

So now that our weapons are maxed at 126, what happens with the extra AP items we get from doing invasions and quests and stuff. It is simply a waste? Or will the cap be raised a tiny bit to let us use that up?
Anyone know?

it also seems odd - a bit like cheating - that I have toons I've barely played who can do this quest chain and suddenly their weapons are completely maxed out, for all specs.

A bit of palindromic wisdom:
"Step on no pets!"
Casual player.. don't raid, don't PvP. Suffer from extreme altitis
I love pets - combat or non.

You sell it, AP now has a gold value and no, maxed is maxed, no getting stronger.

Blizz has outright said that we are getting a pretty good buff from this. The easily reached rank of Concordance prior to this was 25, which granted the achieve. This quest brings us up to rank 75, and we'll be getting 25 ranks every week until 8.0 drops.

Where did you see 25 ranks a week?

Talks about it in the blue post here. According to stuff that was datamined months ago, Concordance has a max rank of 150. There are three weeks till the pre-patch, so 25 per week.

One thing I've noticed is that the AP rewards from the mission board can't be sold to a vendor. This may have been a bug at the time I tried and might be fixed by now. Just thought I'd post about it.

Edit/update: I think the AP bonus reward from the mission table can't be sold to a vendor at the moment.
