It is true that most are tamable, but barely. There are still toms of things that should be tamable but aren't (and I've been actively reporting them).

I'll compile a list and post it on the bug forums once I get home.

If Skyscreamers don't make it to the final build we riot.

I have most of those on my main list already, but thanks :) I'll include the first one in it, though I have my doubts that they'll make it and the battle bear tamable. We can hope, though.

That they didn't realize how many things are yet untameable that probably ought to be (Dire Toads, Skyscreamers, alternate colorations of already tameable creatures) is a bit disconcerting to me.

Better report those as bugs then!

Speaking of bugs and creatures not added yet.

I really want this alliance bug:

It’s in? Tamable in sulthus I believe-same cave system as the huge purple silthid is in.

My best friend tamed one and named it Alliance on her horde hunter. It’s color looks off while in silthus due to the zones green tones.

My question-are horses going to be put in? I was really wanting those

Sadly, I would think that if they haven't implemented them yet, that they aren't going to :(

Hey Valnaaros,

Just saw you post on the Bug forms for Untamable Pets. Great list by the way, more then I thought. But, what about the Mist of Pandaria Pterrodaxes?

Thanks! That is a separate report being created that involves anything outside of Kul Tiras and Zandalar :)

Found some slender Core Hounds! However, they are only found (atm) in the Dark Iron hub of Shadowforge City and are all Friendly.

Both of them are called Dark Iron Core Hounds. Hopefully there'll be a tamable version someday :)

Considering Skyscreamers are heavily ingrained in Zandalari culture, it's possible they plan to release them alongside Zandalari Trolls, rather than at launch.

Not possible. They're in an instanced BRD that only Dark Irons can access.

Not only that, but last I checked, they aren't listed as tamable in the DB.

Question:

What about tamable versions of the void stalker that is the starter pet for the void elf hunter and the single head corehounds that (presumeably) a starter pet for the dark iorn dwarves?

I've not seen anything like either deployed yet in beta, but it feels that they should be implemented. The only other 'unique' starter pet for a specific race that I can think of is the gnome's robo bunny-but a tamable version was put into place for non-gnome hunters.

There hasn't been any sign of a Void Stalker that is tamable, and the Dark Iron's default pet is a red Darkhound. The only single-headed Corehounds are those found in the Dark Iron hub of Shadowforge City, and they are friendly and untamable.
