Protego's Soriid the Devourer
Protego's Soriid the Devourer
Hello,
What are good name suggestions for Soriid the Devourer? I want an original, one-of-a-kind, unique, a-name-that-no-one-else-has name. And it has to be a serious, non-funny name. Take for instances my main and my other pets' names'. My name's Protego, my other 4 pets' names' are Lumos, Patronus, Imperio and Fidelius. The come from the Harry Potter movies. "Protego" is a shield spell, "Lumos" is a lighting spell, Imperio is an obeying spell and "Fidelius" is a hiding charm. Thank you very much!
From,
Kristy.

How about Locust, Devourer, or Plague? They seem... Fitting...

Ixodidae is a family of ticks known as the 'hard-bodied ticks'.
Brentidae is a cosmopolitan family of primarily xylophagous beetles also known as straight-snouted weevils. (also has kinda the same colors)
All I got right now

Aside from the fact that "Imperio" is one of the unforgivable curses, I'm trying to go along you Harry Potter style.
With the pet being a giant bug, let me think...
I marked my favorites in red.
Hope I could help.

- Expelliarmus (disarms target)
- Reducto (pulverizes target)
- Aparecium (reveals insible things)
- Engorgio (enlarges living beings)
- Morsmordre (conjures the dark mark)
I marked my favorites in red.

Thank you for the suggestions everyone. I like the suggestions in red. And Karathyriel, I never said it wasn't. I know that. And all I said was that it's an obeying spell.

Oh, don't be offended...
I just wanted to be silly about that name being "unforgivable"...
I have one unforgivable and the dark mark in my suggestions, too!
Don't worry! I'm just one "Potter-nerd" myself!

Ah okay. No problem. lol Yeah I saw those of course. Glad you're a fan of the movies too! And I don't consider Harry Potter movie fans as "losers". People who go see movies aren't considered "losers". lol

You know, I always considered the books vastly superior to the movies... Harry Potter is one of the best book > movie conversion I've seen, but it's just not the same feeling as reading the books...

I feel the same way. The movies are getting more and more inaccurate as the books get to be longer and longer but the movies don't.Saturo wrote:You know, I always considered the books vastly superior to the movies.

I don't. I don't feel the same way. I love the Harry Potter movies. They do make Warner Brothers alot of money. I'd whether see/visually see something then read about it.
