The all-white non-saber ones are called Young Frostsabers. There's a picture on page 2 of the thread.

It would be so easy, its there already! Set spawn local, set re-spawn timer, go!

This pet/companion duo is my fav! I have to set a macro to call my cub every time I call my pet! (Oh and I have to change my hair to match!) XD

As a gift ima buy a few of the cubs and mail em in little gift wraps (air holes included) to a few of my guildies and buy a few for my alts <3

Btw... anyone else other then me going to tame all the sabers in Winterspring so you dont have to catch them at the patch? XDD im thinking of taming every MountSaberSkin on my blood elf just to have

I know this is about the Frostsaber changes but the nightsaber cub and Shadowclaw duo look good together too! (I got to thinking about after reading Ellandrea's post). Its too bad the cub is a loot card (a common one tho)

anyone seen the golden mount-style cats yet?

question regarding untameable cubs: are they color changers? could someone on the ptr kill one a few times and see if it respawns a different color? i'm trying to decide if i should basically tame an entire stable full and hope i got the color i want come patch day, or if one would be enough. i'd trade all my rares for a tamed kitten. (except sambas, he's my main man)

i just read a few posts back that the cubs don't change. why won't they let us have cuties?

Because sized-up companion pets rarely look fine (see: polar bear cub), and teenytiny pets = no, likely due to pvp implications.

I'm a little confused--what is it you're wanting to tame? If I'm in the area I can try and test what you want, but there will be no way to get one of them tamed--they're a new NPC. The current Cubs on live turn into Young ones (white non-saber cats like now). Apologies if I'm misunderstanding!

Nope so far.. no golden cat

I kinda have an incilination of where they will be if they are up but we will have to see.

In which case I don't think it's been used yet.

Or did you mean that "Fandral Fire Cat"? Our best guess is it's most likely a corrupted druid in cat form, perhaps Fandral Staghelm himself. The name suggests it'd be associated with a Firelands raid, quest or instance.
