Am I the only one who wishes they'd start adding families we DON'T have as Spirit Beasts? Fan favorites that for some reason they don't want to make tameable?

For instance, Beavers, Yaks, Mushan, Giraffes, Zhevras, etc?

It'd allow people who want one of those pets to have one, without introducing all of them as a tameable family.

As for the Spirit Porcupine, does anyone else get a feeling that it's not complete? I just seems... incomplete to me. I can't really explain it.

I for one hope that spirit porcupine is not the new spirit beast I am getting quite tired of the transparent ghost skins.
I am hoping for that turtle skin or at least a porcupine in the spirit of that beaver skin we saw or a sha version of it

I wouldn't mind if my Loki, the Spirit of the North, would turn into a spirit beast... but naah, after some thought I'd rather keep him as a serpent

A cloud-serpent spirit beast would be just perfect, though, and very pandar...ish?

I'm all for a spirit porky, its hilarious and adorable at the same time. I just don't like the super translucent models at all. I hardly bring Magria/Ankha/Arcturis(refuse to tame the others) out for this reason.

I'm referring to those as well. I think the humanoid argument has ran it's course , though.

I think it's pretty safe to assume the ghostly porcupine is a new spirit beast. The thunder beaver? Most likely a battle pet since it has an icon, but I would really like it to have one tameable as a spirit beast since at least this one has a solid body just like Skoll and Loque. As for the turtle, if they ever decide to let us tame a version of it, I'd rather it be a normal turtle just like Terrorpene was. Should it be a rare though? Maybe, but to prevent mass griefing and assholery, like what happened with Arconiss, they could name it "Child of Tortos" and literally fill the shores of Isle of Giants with gazillions of them. That would be something to see!

I have to agree with those that say the porcupine is kind of creepy...I think its the empty looking eyes...they look more like empty eye sockets to me than eyes. If it is one, its awesome they tried to give us something really diffrent and new but I wont be taming it...wont kill it if I see it but wont be bringing it home either...sorry little ghost eyes...no offense, you're cute in your own right...just not for me.

How would you tell if it's a spirit beast? They already kinda look the part!
