I can confirm for anyone curious about it, that you can use Hunter's Mark on the Pandaria Challenge tames again. It does indeed keep them in your sight.

These worms (using the amber skin) from the 8.3 intro quest are tameable, just checked them on live now the patch is up.

Thanks! I deleted those because I thought that quest was no longer functioning. If I start in Nazjatar, , Magni appears then vanishes immediately without the old quest to take you to the Heart. And if you go to the heart anyway he just gives you a quest to return to Nazjatar, not Highmountain.

Did you already have this quest? Or is there some other way of getting it?

Yeah, I was doing the chain through the Nazjatar intro to the Visions of N'zoth stuff, and everything chained properly for me (starting from the boat trip to Nazjatar then finishing off opening the portal, then starting the 8.3 intro quest with the Heart and Visions stuff inc. Highmountain).

The warlock one? That was fixed during beta, so it's not tameable.

I just woke up, and tamed felsteed on normal, the case was they can’t be tamed on heroic which is a bug, so yeah, I have my fiery steed now

This is cool but it requires a whole bunch of annoying/very difficult pre-res things to get (kill 10 enemy faction, then kill 10 of your faction, all without dying, to unlock a toy). Would anyone like to try and make some groups to get this? Presumably it can be done by killing level 48 trial characters as long as they can get to BFA zones (the actual debuff has a 10 min cooldown when you can kill the same person I believe, but that seems not too hard to circumvent).

Battle for Nazjatar is a good place to get your 10 enemy faction buff. You can then hide out in Mardivas' labratory and have folks swap out their alts. I think the whole knife thing ended up being too complicated to get without cheesing.

Only downside is I think theres a debuff so it would be hard to share.

I think you can just do it in turns right? Have people make a bunch of trials/bring a bunch of alts, stack them up in one of the BFA zones, and just cycle through till everyone has it.

So you think you can spawn them for other people by doing quest sync? I'll set up toons with the quest alli and horde if so.

I think that should be possible. Might be wrong, since I haven't used the sync thing that much.

Correct. To sync properly, the person who wants to tame it has to enable party sync. You get invited, open your quest log, press the party sync button, and the group leader accepts. You will then phase over to the lead's phase.

Quick question. I bought two of How to School Your Serpent... One for my main (Who is exalted with the faction) and one for my ally hunter who is not. I was under the impression you only needed one character to purchase the book, but I didn't know you needed to be exalted as well to use it. Is that actually intended? Cause that's annoying. =|
