Color Changing MINIPets Return

Personally speaking, I generally dislike color-changers and am glad that hunter pets no longer do it (Mirage would be the one, very odd exception to this...I can't explain her). It feels like a different animal each time. I feel like I should change its name and personality every time it changes color. I dislike the instability. Its not exciting for me, but annoying and ruins any chance of a bond with that pet.

Also, fantasy game it may be, but my scientific little mind can't explain why an animal would do random color changes that have nothing to do with its surroundings. Now, ghost pets, I can explain. They aren't actually incorporeal (to me), not ghosts, spirits, anything intangible. What looks like insubstantiality is actually sophisticated camouflage. They blend with their background for either protection or as a hunting advantage.

But random color changes....? Nope.
