I like how they made the pink cranes level 91, so until the next expansion goes live, Patrannache will still be the only tameable one.

I suspect there will be some phasing with this island, designed to unlock the Fire God. there is a path that goes up and twists around the upper regions but the bridge is out right before his fiery temple. if im not mistaken, the minimap displayed a red X that was labelled Collapsed Bridge or something of the sort.

Also I don't recall seeing a single battlepet. Nor was it instanced. Of course, any and all could change.

Yeah, I saw no wild battle pets either, which I thought was odd. Then again, neither did Isle of Giants. But hopefully they're just yet to add them.

The frogs are bizarre. They were hopping and leaping in slow motion. Very weird.

Whaaaaaa? Why we killing good guys?! Whyyyy? Oh who am I kidding... I will kill them anyway to steal their gear and have their babies as mini pets.

Pretty sure the Celestials are just testing our Strength...they likely won't die...The Yaungol boss on the other hand...

They already indicated it was more of a tourney type scenario. I don't think we kill off the Celestials. Plus the "bad guy = corrupted good guy" trope is so well worn now you almost expect everyone to turn bad eventually.


The Yaungol Fire God boss does intrigue me, though.

Up till now all world bosses have dropped a mount. The Celestials are a bit different to true world bosses and I assume they award minipets.

But the Fire God. If he was to drop a mount, what do you think he'd drop?

SB and I were speculating that it would be cool if he dropped a yak mount that used the spirit yak style, but fiery instead of white. How awesome would a fiery demon yak be?

But what else could he drop?

The Celestials could drop a Yu'lon cloud serpent....The yak would prolly be Ordo's drop.

Depends on which one drops the new tier pieces (the tier drop bosses in this xpac have both dropped a cloud serpent, while the other bosses dropped a ground mount). Then again, it could be completely different.

yes, I should have said "defeat" a world boss, I too doubt we kill them. theres a lot more activity on the island now. trios of timeless yaks (patriarch etc). some caterpillars, red cloud serpents flying about, death adders which use the new python model, big ol snakes.

World server keeps going down so this is all I could get atm. Still can't go out to the Timeless isle, you get ported back to jade forest, so eagle eye it is.

I went back to the timeless isle and found that they are doing Savage's skin as level 91s, the same way they did Patrannache. they are common.



Also I found this guy, a new beast, MAYBE WE CAN TAME HIM?! jokes jokes! i assume its just a run of the miss mislabel is all.




Oh I found a rare but the world server went down! It was Bombyx model. Edit: Got it. All I can think is Gu'chi the Swarmbringer trots around like a boss.
