Re: Potential new hunter pets in WoD
Thanks for confirming! This is a recent change to the mobs in this area because a few builds ago I was still able to find them on my hunter that did the quests.Arcanimus wrote:I can confirm, at least for Horde, that the wolves in Telaar phase out once you finish the quests *in* Telaar.Bendak wrote:*snip*
Will definitely be keeping an eye on this one. Even if it gets fixed I'll end up taming it before I do any quests just to be safe.

Silverpelt Calf in SMV comes in black. It comes in three colours, so you may have to search.Vishanka wrote:Hello! Does anyone know where do get a BLACK Talbuk (New Model)?

Silverpelt Charger also comes in black (and purple).
Oddly, not many silverpelts come in silver. :/
Void-Touched Chargers in SMV also come in black (and purple).

Thank you very much! I've searched in the wrong zone
Re: Potential new hunter pets in WoD
Not a problem. The best place to search is this other thread, which lists the individual NPCs:Vishanka wrote:Thank you very much! I've searched in the wrong zone

Just search for "stag" until you come across the right colour

While unlikely we'll get one as a pet, we so need a Percy Postal Service Maybe a consumable rep item from the Arakkoa.
The angle wasn't the best, but the cute little arakkoa is carrying a bunch of scrolls on his back.

Fun fact; The Icehoof Calves (Blue, White) here can be clicked on and "shattered" constantly when tamed, but when dismissed they keep the glowing hand cursor when mousing over them. It doesn't do anything except visual stuff, but still a neat thing.
EDIT: Adolescent Snow Lurkers and Frost Wolves do it too!

However, I don't mind too much. I do feel that hunters have had so much love recently (from an earlier post on another thread, we've got a tameable red ironreaver now) and it's good to see shaman get some loving. It's a shame we can't tame a cinder wolf too. They did have Karoma as a tameable and the shamans look identical to him with a glyph. On well...Gara is gorgeous enough for me :3

This. I have pined for one since they were released. Always hoping that since shale spiders were tamable that this model would be too. I'd've much rather had these over shale spiders.pop wrote:https://twitter.com/Muffinus/status/515558298217484288

I might be the odd one out, but I think Shaman getting Charhound makes more sense. As soon as I saw them I was like "SHAMAN" (even though I can't ever get past lvl 20 on one xD)
To me it just makes more sense. They control elements (Or befriend them, what ever you want to call it), so it would make sense that they'd be able to summon an elemental hound IMO.

Siggy under construction!

Ummm you do realize your posting on Petopia right? The Warlocks den is over HERE. Also it was only in Cata Warlocks got a a whole set of new demons right?... like last expansion?Junrei wrote:Hunters have gotten way too much attention these last few expansions when it comes to pets.
And don't forget this Blue Post...
I'm happy to share we actually do have plans for offering players a choice between male and female versions of all warlock demons. This is a task already in our system, though I don't have a time frame for you at the moment. Other art tasks could always take precedence, but we're committed to making this happen.
So who knows, but hopefully soon.
I tend to agree with you on this one too. As discussed in another thread, many creatures can tend to have not just one alignment some times two, or more. This can create a pretty large variants in the shades of gray regarding "Is it a beast and can we tame it?"Bowno wrote:I might be the odd one out, but I think Shaman getting Charhound makes more sense. For me, these Charhounds have always looked very much a split aligned creature, but an Elemental/Undead more so than a beast. Don't get me wrong, I think that would be pretty dam neat if they allowed us, but I just don't seem them being that representative of a beast.
I do get that Shannox IS a Hunter and flamewalkers are classified Humanoids, the fact they live in the elemental realm of fire, live for over 2000 years, they really not a standard hunter. Lastly Riplimb and Rageface have, and always were classified elementals, so the Shamans win this one imo
