Icecrown Citadel Zone Buff, Blue posts

Icecrown Citadel Zone-Buff is here
The optional zone buff in the Icecrown Citadel is now available and will make the instance easier for whoever wants to use it. The buff currently increases total health, healing done and damage dealt by 5% but higher versions are in-game and will probably be activated later.
* Strength of Wrynn (5%) / Hellscream's Warsong (5%)
* Strength of Wrynn (10%) / Hellscream's Warsong (10%)
* Strength of Wrynn (15%) / Hellscream's Warsong (15%)
* Strength of Wrynn (20%) / Hellscream's Warsong (20%)
* Strength of Wrynn (25%) / Hellscream's Warsong (25%)
* Strength of Wrynn (30%) / Hellscream's Warsong (30%)
On a sidenote, the amount of limited attempts for end-wing bosses has been increased to 35.

Yay! Easier ICC ftw. And by that I mean quicker runs. Totally.

Don't get too happy about that zonewide buff...it doesn't apply to our pets (or warlock, dk, mage, or shaman pets), unless they hotfixed it and didn't tell anyone.
5% damage isn't much...but when that buff gets to +30% damage our pets aren't doing, it's going to really hurt.

Nope, it doesn't apply, at least not as of last night.

Zone wide buffs and even local area buffs from quests never apply to pets, anyones. Pet's in general tend to get the shaft.

Hrrrm...I'm not sure exactly what good old GC isn't done with yet...but perhaps a glimmer of hope for our poor combat pets before the damage bonus gets up to +30%.

Annd it's official...our pets will get the zone buff as of 3.3.3. Hooray!

Question remains is when do the buffs go up ? If they wait to long then everyone well be pretty well geared enough they wont need the buff or know enough ppl that they can get run through ICC.

The point of the buff is to make it possible for those raids which aren't min/max progression-minded to see the content. It's not a question of "running people through" or getting geared...it's to make sure that as many people as possible get to fight Arthas. The "elite" world first raiders have gotten Arthas down unbuffed and are now working on heroic modes. Hence the buff so the "rank and file" of us can clear the content and be big gorram heroes
as well.
If they're happy with the patch as the latest build came up, then we might see 3.3.3 next week or two weeks from now. I suppose we'll only know for sure when the PTR closes for good on this patch.

MMO is saying March 22nd, as a heads up. Pure speculation, of course, but MMO educated guesses tend to be closer to the money than most.

Hmmm so the buffs would go up every 2 weeks?

I just need to hurry and get to 80 so I can start getting geared up to fight him now lol.. Just hit 60 this weekend
