From my understanding he'll be a boss or something in the raid. If he's a boss, we're looking at him being untamable.

This is a unique druid form for Fandral Staghelm, an iconic lore character, so I don't think it would be tameable.

Whoops, I see that now, thanks Veph. I must have skimmed that over due to my excitement.

However, it's still a really gorgeous model. I'd love to see them move it onto a tamable mob in the near future.

It is a gorgeous model < 3 But I'd hate to see it become tamable in any representation. It's like, for me... a drake. DRAKE DRAKE TAME YES. That'd be rockin, having a pet dragon. Then I sit out for a sec and think of the lore. No. 3:

Aye, it is supposed to be a special model for Staghelm. Still, that model is *amazing* looking. Perhaps a little bit of design tweaking and a color change and we could have a firelands oriented rare cat tamable maybe? =3

Edit: What's even more amazing is that it doesn't suffer any of the model flaws the cats in game currently have (ie wacky bent legs). Would be awesome if Blizzard ever got around to cleaning them up.

I also would be the happiest person in the world if they took all the 'tiger' models and reskinned them. Keep the colors they have on but give them this better textured skin, you'll make us even bigger crazy cat ladies then we already are with all this new love to the tiger/saber models

I have to agree that the model detail in his face is quite amazing, it really is massive leaps and bounds in front of some of the vanilla kitties we currently have. As much as I would <3 to see all the models re-evaluated and the textures updated, it would be a task that would take just so many man hours to complete.

If the did however, as they have done with sambas, the new Crocolisks, etc. and add "new" kitties every now and then with updated textures, I think that would be great. It would be best of both worlds too. As much as some vanilla models may have very low textures, some people actually really like them that way, and may be upset to see the model change on them.

That said, if this kitty could be somehow be transformed/changed/edited somehow to make it a possible tamable Cat/Spirit Beast hunter ept, I would be one extremely happy camper

I would *love* to see an alternative of this model become tamable. The fact that the legs seem to be missing the key flaws that the older cats have as well as the amazing amount of detail makes me extremely happy. I almost wish I raided regularly just to see this guy in game.
