Latest version of Guppet?

Whats the newest version of Guppet? I can only find 2.018 but that seems out of date :/ Is there a newer one or is it like dead?

I mean yeah it works fine but It does not show you where to get any of the new mounts and pets. Useally you just put your mouse over a npc and it will tell you what it drops/sells. Thats what I like about it and well was just wondering if there was a newer one with up to date stuff.

At least the armory has that info now, even if it's just the bare minimum.

Last time I checked, Guppet is no longer being updated, at least not officially.

Indeed so. You can add new mounts in it by hand, but it probably doesn't include how to get them.

Guppet is WONDERFUL for letting you assign which mounts you get when you are in different areas...

I still have the last version of guppet from months ago and use it without much problem (the only thing it seems to affect is companions won't persist through zoning and logging out). As I get new mounts or companions they are showing up automatically in my list (i.e. the balloons this patch showed up without me adding), however I don't use the mod to keep track of what I don't have so I don't know if or how that part is affected.

if you want pets persisting through zones, while Guppet is running, just don't select a pet in Guppet. WoW will keep your last pet around.
I keep the vanity pet option entirely cleared in Guppet.

Thanks for that info Sukurachi! But the problem is I use guppet so that I can have a random companion selected from my chosen list (I know there's other companion addons too, but I like having pet and mount in one and so far this has worked well). So it's a tradeoff... either no using guppet for random companion, or no persistent companion. So far I've chosen to just keep resummoning. Or I could turn on the auto summon feature but that drives me crazy after a while.

Random Companion does both minipets and mounts, and lets you choose relative chances of being summoned right in the spellbook. Also, minipets I summon this way do persist, except in rare cases like the interior portal in the SW mage tower.

Thanks, I'll check it out! There's just so many addons out there and I hadn't found another that worked the same way, so I've been clinging to guppet all this time.
