Chain casting Eagle Eye can be fun!

THere are lots of bugs that can be discovered in this way.

Like the edge of the world!
Once a myth, using some Hunter magic, it has been discovered to be true!
The ramifications to this are, let's call it, astronomical!

I love finding these sorts of things! They're hilarious :D

I wonder if you can use chained Eagle Eye to find the island below the tip of Tanaris? *may possibly have to try this*

As far as I know Eagle Eye can't be chained. :(

Yeah, the secret is to make a macro with "/cast !Eagle Eye" in it, and then use that one instead.

After this is done Eagle Eye works like the shamans Fars Sight spell, and it can easily be chain casted.

Hmm, just tried this and it still cancelled when I tried to do it a second time.

Sorry about that, it's supposed to be "/cast !Eagle Eye"

I'll edit my original post.

:D

I considered Eagle Eye so worthless, that it did'nt even get a place on my actionbar until I learned about this.

Heck, I even put passive spells on the Action Bar, like [Parry]

Interesting. I'll have to start doing this. Will be helpful in BGs and the like. ;)

I wonder if this macro is considered an exploit?

It could very well be, but I sincerely doubt you will get reported for it. Save someone is willing to wait about 4 hours to tattle that you can do the same thing a shaman can (or a priest, with enough living things around).

Hmm, good point. ^^

I love the greater exploration you can attain with this now, I've always liked seeing how far I could get with my Eagle Eye from where my body was standing, now it's practically infinite. :D

Well, I found it on MMOwned, so it's likely an exploit.

It may be a bit taboo, but I surely will be adding this to my macro list when i get home....

Not infinite. :(

I got an "Out of range" error when I had explored from Darnassus to somewhere in the Shimmering Flats. Later checked on Thottbot, which is reporting a 40000 yard range.
