I'm still the most happy that they finally got him a real voice that wasn't that placeholder that sounded like he really hated Blood Elves and sought to parody them as much as possible.

Oh, now he's so dreamy. *melt* It's too bad the Valentine's Day Faction Leader card count totals never worked because guess who's getting all mine this year?

Lor'Themar for Warchief 2013 ~<3
I think it's safe to say, most if not all of the female fanbase would vote for him if it were a democracy x3

No thank you. Vol'jin, please. ;)

So, so grateful they gave him a better voice, though! The last one was unbearable.

Seconded on both counts!

I get the feeling Lor'themar really would just back down from any invitation to be Warchief. He presses over and over that he is no politician, his appointment to Regent Lord was really just to protect Quel'thalas and not much else, and he's certainly never been very keen to oversee much more than Sin'dorei affairs.

Even when Grand Magister Rommath tells him he'd make a "fine Warchief" and the response is "it may come to that", it's not really a total agreement of "Yeah baby, bring it on", just kind of a reluctant acknowledgement that the Horde's definitely going to have some serious power shifts soon and he'll probably have to get involved in it.

I'm still OK with him getting out more, though. :>

As the guy in the comments says, it does sound a lot like Fenris out of Dragon Age II. He had a good voice actor so this change is pretty cool.

Agreed, Vol'jin for Warchief! That being said, it is great that Lor'Themar is going to finally have some development, and I'm looking forward to finding out all about it. Hopefully this is a good sign for other leaders who need some of the limelight. The voice-acting is also an improvement I must say.

I agree, his voice is really quite appealing. He sounds like a general, an educated one. Quite a contrast to Garrosh.

Maybe they are grooming him for a much larger role in the future Horde. But they may just be taking an opportunity to flesh out his character more because he's been the butt of so many jokes. It's going to be really interesting to see what happens.

But they still really need to move the end point of that teleporter to Silvermoon. How can you respect a leader who has the major flow of domestic traffic passing through his throne room? ;) I can imagine him trying to discuss sensitive military strategy while merchants and peasants with livestock are wandering past on their way to and from Undercity.

Pretty sure it was a desperate bid for attention on his part :)
