Spirit beast attacks appearance

Unread post by Teigan »

I know that the attack is the same for all the spirit beasts, as far as properties go, but I've only ever seen mine (Loque) in action. So, I was wondering, is the graphic appearance (like the druid Moonfire) the same for all of them?
The "moonfire" is incredibly cool and makes me feel all-powerful. :D Just had to add that.

All have the same moonfire.
It also scales with the targets size, so against a large target like Sindragosa, the effects is HUGE.

Yeah...I thought I was going after gnomes, but they just turned out to be squirrels. Ah well, same size...easy to get mixed up.

I love how this thread immediately lead to the deaths of many squirrels and other small creatures via druidic powerz

Here are the photos!!!

Tiny. Poor frog just didn't know what hit him!

Large.

The first small I zapped was a squirrel but was having a hard time getting them before the dreadsabers did. I also zapped a rhino but the screen shot was not very good. I totally lol-ed something fierce when I zapped the frogs and squirrel. My one house mate said "Are you ok in there?" because I was laughing so hard.

Try it with a spider-critter. Those are downscaled normal spiders, and the mini-moonfire is incredibly obvious.

When my druid was boomkin I loved to pan my camera to look from up top. You see the top of the moonfire, it's like a mid-space explosion. It's awesome. Also, the large in your pictures comes nowhere near the moonfires on a mob like XT or the VoA quadruplets, Gio. I'm not trying to take away from your picture, but when you're in a raid with multiple boomkins and spirit beasts, you're blinded by the enormous flashes of white light. @_@

Also I have to ask... what's going on with your pet in the first picture? All I see is two translucent orbs with his name over them...
