Since nobody has noted it yet, our friends at Warcraft Pets have discovered that four pets in the journal are now marked as Recruit-A-Friend rewards on the PTR.

All four were only previously available as limited promotions in the Asian region:

• Golden Pig
• Jade Tiger
• Silver Pig
• Zipao Tiger

This is only the PTR and there's been no official announcement, so things may change.

I know the RaF program method won't be popular with everyone, but I'm happy there may be some way of obtaining previously region-restricted pets. But I'm even more happy to know that these things are at least on their minds. Maybe in the future we'll see Gurky, Terky, etc. available through some mechanism

Oh my. While it will be super nice to get these pets... I know there is going to be a few upset people.
I don't have these pets and I'm a little upset that they're obtainable again in such a way. I'd be happier if they released a limited amount again in a similar way as they had before.. Just not region exclusive.

But wouldn't that make them even more restrictive, just to a different set of people?

I don't think anyone outside Blizzard knows yet. No announcements have been made, to my knowledge. The RaF thing has just been spotted in the journal.

Ah, too bad all my video game playing friends HATE WoW ;;;; They all play GW2 or RIFT, but they don't like how old and clunky/how bad the graphics on WoW are.

I logged on to the ptr today to check it out, but could only find one: the Jade Tiger.

But there was another update between WCP's announcement and me logging on, so maybe they've hidden the others. I can't see the pigs or zipao tiger listed at all anymore. Not sure what's going on.

Yeah but WoW graphics look the same on any setting

I don't either...I like wow's graphics best tbh and I've played all those games It probably is very dated but then im getting older so i care less ^.^

Yeah but WoW graphics look the same on any setting

True but at least I find the style of the graphics to be neat

Anyway this is way the fuck of topic so that's all I'm going to say on it.


Eh these pets while look neat I don't think I'd ever get them sadly >.> All the people I know who like WoW already play it >.>
