Re: Thundering Hatchling
without taking into consideration ANY training, repairs, etc...
it amounts to 8,100g
I have trouble on my main server getting to 5k gold... I'm simply not good at farming up money in the game. So this is going to be a good exercise for me.
I need:
pets
-Armadillo pup
-Lil' Tarecgosa
-Serpent Hachling
mounts
-Dark Phoenix
-Thundering Jade Serpent
I'm not letting any potential gold get away, I'm picking up every single piece of vendor trash and selling it all off.
I had thought I might server-transfer one of my toons with some gold to help.. then I realized that all my toons are Horde! I wouldn't have been able to get the gold across anyway.

I love pets - combat or non.

Re: Thundering Hatchling
Also since you only need to buy one of each but have two toons you will have some extra gold to put into it.
Are you lvling to 85 or going all the way to 90? I can probably pitch in a little bit once you hit your stopping point.

Re: Thundering Hatchling
sadly, I have to get two of each.
this is two separate accounts I have, each on a distinct b-net.
and yes, my plan was to stick it out to 90 and hopefully stay with the guild.

Re: Thundering Hatchling
It didn't dawn on me until much later after posting that I COULD also faction transfer one of my horde toons when I did a server change.Wain wrote:I thought faction transfer was offered as part of the server transfer process. But maybe I remember wrongly. Don't take my word on it
I have a level 90 panda hunter I could use. It's not like making a panda go from Horde to Alliance changes much! LOL
EDIT********
faction change is $25, and server change is $30... so it IS a bit expensive.

Re: Thundering Hatchling
- You can check your realm's best times to search for a guild that has the achievement. Some of those guilds are selling CM runs, so they may also be willing to sell (or give) you a guild invite to get the minipet. As of MoP, when you change guilds (within 30 days of leaving your old guild) you retain some of your guild rep. You only go down one level, so if you have an alt that's exalted with your guild, you can leave, join the CM guild and be instantly revered (the required rep level for the minipet) with them. Then you can leave and rejoin your real guild (assuming someone online can invite), where you'll be honored until you build that rep back.
- If making a new character, remember that humans have a bonus to rep gains. And you can mail an Illustrious or Renowned Guild Tabard cross realm and cross faction to your new character. Same goes for heirloom gear (for faster questing) and for Timeless Isle armor tokens (which vendor for 5g each). And of course, you can AH cageable minipets on your new server. Actually, there's a whole lot of BoA items you can vendor. If you're a Moneybags on your main server, then you could just buy 17-18 Renowned Guild Tabards (for around 1080g, assuming best case scenario) and vendor them on your new server. If not, then loot as many BoA items off the ground in Pandaria that you can and mail as many rep tokens from killing zandalari warscouts over.
