Coming in 7.2 there will be a chance for new thematic mounts to drop from their respective emissary caches, including a storm drake and sabrecorn outside of PvP!

Storm drake!!! I'm so glad!

I'm very excited, been asking for these mounts for ages... especially storm drakes. My biggest fear though is how hard they will be to get. Will there be a random chance every paragon cache, is it guaranteed after a certain level, is there a bad luck protection...?

Each level requires 20k rep... so if it's completely rng, it better be a high drop. Otherwise grinding rep for possibly eternity is not really appealing. I still don't have the fox after all.

Updated the title to reflect that they will be from the Paragon emissary caches rewarded from the extra rep, not the standard, current ones.

I am so excited for this. I NEED the dragon. NEED it. I want the Unicorn of course too.

Sorry to be a dumb bum but can someone tell me what this Paragon thing is? Is it for the people who are exalted with the reps? Cus I'm exalted with all Legion reps.

Yeah that was my first thought lol. But if not I would have preferred the black moose. The brown one is too similar to the grove warden - though I do quite like it.

If I had it my way, all the moose should have just been added to the rep vendor exalted. Then have eagle as the paragon reward. Best of both worlds. It'd make sense too, having the most revered of players being chosen to ride them.

Also, wardens don't have a mount despite having paragon rewards. Wonder if one will be added for them. Personally I would LOVE an owl mount, or one of the gryphowls that Priest are getting, just in a natural color & armor.

I do want to say though, I'm really pleased that they went with simple, unadorned mounts for these. One of my biggest peeves is how most recent mounts are covered head to toe in armor when I often prefer the plain versions of the creatures, so that's nice. None of these colours are ones that I personally would have been most excited for, alas (I really want the blue/purple storm drakes, and the blue unicorn) but I'm still happy about these.

I've added all the Paragon rep mounts to WCM.

Interestingly they copied all the skins from the armoured courser folder to the wild dreamrunner folder, so the new bareback mount has 9 possible variants that are unused. To see them all, go to http://www.warcraftmounts.com/mounts/bl ... runner.php and look at the "other mounts using the same model" section. Some of them would be pretty awesome

I would literally sell my soul for that black/purple one. *-* I really hope this means they're considering adding some more unarmoured unicorn mounts, they're just such lovely models.

Damn, I want all of them! (Particulary the ones that don't have a special color on their ass)

Soooo essentially it's worse than a rep grind cause you have to already rep grind enough to be exalted than you have to rep grind again for the off chance of possibly getting a very rare mount.. fun times lol. Legion seems to be the expansion of the time sinks lol

So much this! Was literally the first thing I thought upon reading the newspiece on WoWHead earlier.

Too bad that there is no Black-fel Green Wildrunner to match with original Gladiator's Pursuit transmog set. Continuing to stick it out with my Headless Horseman's mount then
Although if we ever get hands on the Forest one (brown-ish with green) it would look amazing on Demonstalker.

P.S. I wonder if reputation tokens from 7.1.5 can be used for Paragon rep in 7.2? I have half the bank of those because I don't do alts past garrison Class campaign for achievement and am too gready to just toss them away
