My sweet, beautiful girl. You gave me so much love, and you gave me someone to care for and love in return. Despite your size, you loved to run like a greyhound, and your fiery spirit kept you active right to the end. Your departure has left a hole in my heart and in my life. I’ll love you always ❤️

you've been in my thoughts Wain, I know there's not much I can say but I hope your pain eases soon, grief is natural and it will get better in time, I'm so glad she had as long and as healthy of a life that she got to have with you 💜

I'm so sorry for your loss. IDC what anyone says, Pets are a huge part of our lives and part of the family.

She had a wonderful, long life with you and that's what matters. Losing a pet is no different than losing a human member of the family, no matter what some people may think. It's just as difficult, and can take a long time to heal. We're all here for you, please never forget that. <3

I just wanted to say thank you for all your kind words and support ❤️ Polly was very well loved. And as she was very old, I never took my time with her for granted, and spent as much effort making her happy as I could. On her last day she had several walks (some of them carried) to check on her neighbourhood and to tell off the neighbourhood dogs one final time. She had KFC for lunch and managed to wolf it down. Thankfully, she was in decent spirits, and good enough to enjoy her last time with us. It's going to take a long time to get used to the fact she's gone.

I have no doubt that Polly loved you deeply, Wain, and was very happy with the life that you gave her.

I'm sorry I didn't see the post before (I saw it 1 week or 10 days ago), with my crazy life... and I didn't know what to write either, I've tried several times and in the end I've always deleted it, because I didn't know that you I could say, and between that and now I have a crazy life (I barely spend 9 hours a day at home...) and that's how time passed without writing anything more than that in the other post. .

Words cannot express what it feels like when a relative dies, because pets are our family, they may not have as much intelligence as a human, but they give us their love unconditionally and that is what family does.

I just hope that time will ease the pain of loss and I hope it will be soon.
In my case I am very scared and I am afraid, my furry friends are already somewhat older (1 puppy and 2 cats between 11 and 12 years old) and I get a lump in my throat when I think of a situation similar to yours.

There is nothing more to say, and I hope that my words do not cause you more pain when you read them (partly because of that it has also cost me to write something), the last thing I want is for no one to remind me. .

A hug mate.
