Scarlet Tracking Hound is back

Hi all,

Got the scarlet key which lets you go back to old Scarlet Monastary. Found the old Scarlet Tracking Hound to be tameable!
I don't believe there are any other returning or new tames in here.

There’s no way that the hyena you tamed is in the hound family

Quite odd if you asked me, in classic wow or the old vanilla wow, they were classed as hyenas, they were changed to dogs in cataclysm, if they brought old stuff back, how are they hounds and not hyenas

Probably from the model swap in cata and when bringing it back the npc was imported wrong with the new family.

Whelp, didn't notice at the time of taming it was in the hound family haha! I'm guessing Blizz will fix this soon, which is fine. I just hope they won't change to the hound model, rather have them as hyena mobs, even though it is the newer model.

Thanks! I haven't investigated the new instance yet. Any idea how low it scales?

Don't look at it like an error. Look at it like a happy little accident that's fun and worth keeping around!

Good thing it wasn’t classed as a wolf or another ferocity pet, if it was I would of went nuts

It will be interesting to see if they keep this around or not. I'm doubtful, but it would be nice since we cant change pet specs or... really customize our pets at all any more xD

I went back on a whim, they still haven't fixed it!
