Female worgen models updated - 10/17/10

Unread post by Jangalian »

I'm not sure if today was when they got updated...I just added the date in the topic to differentiate between posts. Anyways. The model seems to have gotten a few more touch-ups, with better ears and faces, and new colors for pelts. The males got updated insofar that you can change the ears, but other than that, there's nothing new. Below are three pictures of the same model, just so you guys can see the new face on them.

Here's a few more combinations. Note - the neck section of the models does not change color; it remains a base grey.

Oooh, they made the snarl less....snarly! Well, less cartoon snarly. I like that. What I don't like are those particular ears on the female in the first post!

Sorry, I just picked a style and went with it! I kind of like them...they look like jackal ears from behind.

They really look fab when moving around! The pics just aren't pleasing me at all.

So far, I like the narrowed eyes and less dopey expression.

Honestly, I have fallen in love with the combination you showed in pic number 2 in your first shot of pics. The hair color, ears, and hair just matched perfectly to me. Now the other ears made me either think of bat ears or Mr. Spock.

Ahhh, now THAT'S an important thing! There are certain hairstyles I like from the front, but I *hate* staring at them from the back, so I don't get them on my toons.

No need to apologize! Everyone has their own taste and it WAS good to see a set of prominent ears for comparison.

Loving them now, the old ones were worse off than this current one (not alpha, it was the best).

That pic made me have to rethink all of my Worgen to mostly males before the update.

Having played about with these new, small changes myself, I can say that I do quite like these. We're moving forward peoples! The model is still a huge work in progress; the body itself has barely been touched, the ears still aren't connected to he head properly and the skull is still slightly disfigured, but it is looking better with each update.

Thank you for the find Jangalian! :D

Awesome stuff. I agree, we're definitely moving in the right direction. Also, I'm completely in love with the face pattern in this picture: http://forums.wow-petopia.com/download/file.php?id=4286

I see so many potentials for both of the worgen I have in mind... I'm going to be going nuts, rolling worgen on random servers to try out class/look combos. I just know it!

I take it all the faces still have a snarl? It still seems to be a work in progress though, so I hope we'll get a few non-snarly faces as well I have to admit. As it stands, I like the faces from the front but hate the way they look from the side.

I just wish the "Face" option changed the actual facial features rather than the pattern. The males' eye shape and color change with the Face option, but not the females'. I want to see different eye colors and stuff, darn it!

Also, the males' facial hair and ears are connected in that when you change one, both change. It's like the goblins' and how their ears and noses and whatever change at the same time.

I really hope the females get some more vicious-looking faces. I don't want to play puppy people, I want to play a violent worgen!
