Because Shy-Rotam is there all the time now, Rak'Shiri was no longer special with the aqua colour. Now he will be again

What a weird skin change, but at least both skins are in the game.

It just made my decision for me.... well... if I was 100% sure I wanted the Shy-Rotam skin... but now... being Horde... I... am... not... so... sure......

Agreed, they may have taken one source of getting the minty cat away, but by doing so they have added a brand new source for the white riding model that only baby nelfs have access to atm. Well played if you ask me

I have to go tame Shy-Rotam, now. I have Rak'Shiri (he was a 'gift' from a very dear friend) and while I accept the color change, I will sorely miss my blue kitty.

Does the game actually remember which one you've tamed though? o.O Or do we have to retame our Raks for the new skin (haven't got Raks on beta)?
Wondering the same about Shango.

The way it's worked in the past, the game remembers which specific pet you tamed, so it should change.

I know I should be happy they put it in, but they just killed my Moonlight. I have been through thick and thin with this cat. I tamed him twice, once when I was 57, and once again when I realized I really clicked.

Rak'shiri, AKA Moonlight has been with me through everything. We went through the Dark Portal and into the shattered lands of Outlands together. We fought off the Lich King's assault in Northrend. Now? Now he's just some black and white kitty.

Aww...Rak...What have they done to you? Time to go get Shy...
