Withers and Teldrassil Sproutling

With the most recent patch both of these pets have been changed to the old resto druid tree form colors making them both the exact same amber skin. It bums me out that they are no longer unique as I liked their old colors so much more. Withers looked like a withering tree and the sproutling looked like the purple trees from Teldrassil.

I don't know what is up with the lazy mini pet re-skin's lately but enough is enough. The recent card game pet looks exactly like the petstore XT pet and apparently the next card game pet will be the same. At least give them a different color.

I had absolutely no idea of this change. I'm utterly and completely horrified...What on Earth was wrong with them in the first place? Withers is no longer...withered! His namesake isn't even there! =(

Let's hope this isn't intended...They not only changed it, but they're both exactly the same amber skin according to me =s

EDIT: Opened a ticket to at least check if it's intended, could just be a model bug...

"A near-perfect, goblin-manufactured knockoff of the Wonderworks original." A knockoff in general is going to try and immitate the original in every way possible to try and make them look similar. I pulled out my Landro's Lil' XT and Moonlost had her regular Mini XT or whatever and yes they do look exactly alike. But you'll never know that mines more crappily made!

Ditto...I love that little gloom tree. I wonder if it will be hotfixed or if we will have to wait for the next patch.

It'll probably be next patch =( They weren't too quick about fixing Deathy's misplaced Space Marine sounds, so I don't think companion pets are on their priorities list -.- Then again, I could be pleasently surprised ;P

It's not just about being quick or not. Some fixes need to be applied client side and some server side. Since we don't know why the models got mixed up, it's hard to say how or how fast Blizz should be fixing it.

It's a general treant bug, the Eversong treants are now like druids.
I loved the "druid pet" look however!

I'm curious... Doesn't Withers start out as a bigger healthier looking tree, then shrink down over time to the gray withered like form? I've actually been kinda lazy in going to pick him up from the Forsaken in Darkshore so I'm not quite sure, but I have read around about it. oO
