Question: can anyone gain renown with the new Dream Wardens faction? Mine stays at 0.

I gain renown points, but as soon as it reaches the end of the 0 rank, it goes back to the start.

If the item to tame Nah'qi is gained through renown then we can't test it

Yeah, I noticed its name is different if you're holding the knife. The NPC never changes (it has the same ID), but its name is different to you if you're holding the ritual item.

I don't like that. Being a patient hunter and risking one hell of a landing is significantly more fun than buddying up with some dumb owl "god" that runs away like a wimp when you ask for help. I'll do it, but I'm not gonna like it. If you mean that annoying owl loa, that's Q'onzu, not An...

I updated my above post about the Watchful Somnowl. I no longer need help, as I have a reliable solution for determining all the looks now

The updated post has some interesting data on the chance of each appearance to spawn.

That damned brown one also meant I had to make up a whole new set of look combos for owls with stub-tails. That added 128 new looks and blew out the total number of looks to 512

Tula'rhun is intended to be a Bear, like the other colours. It was just a data copy error.

I see there's another black fey darter in Wowhead's list of NPCs added this build, but I haven't seen it and it doesn't mean it's in anyway.

Also, it's not intended that the knife remains after the sacrifice. It will probably be fixed, but for now it's handy for testing

EDIT: I got all three hearts from the various cats, bears, and stags/does in the zone, so they all do drop as intended. Root Snapper is now tameable! It uses an unavailable crab look: diamond. It was the only regular crab look that was still unavailable.

Ristar is now tameable, and he retains his name! He's the only black dreamtalon I've found, so that means all the colours are available.

Henri now retains his name!

He's also a lot smaller, but that's to be expected.

I can confirm that Sul'raka was bugged. She's been fixed behind the scenes, but that fix may take a couple of builds to make it into the game.
