I joined the Navy a year ago, and haven't had a chance to play until last week so I'm waaaaay out of the pet knowledge loop.

Today in a bg, I saw a hunter with a pandaren phoenix pet? Was it a glyph, or rare spawn, or missing labeled mob that's no longer tamable? I can't seem to find it.

Bah! I wish there was an alert for my phone for when a spot opened (all my apps have alerts!)... *sigh*, Henry will continue to wait.

On a different note, hat water strider is lovely and quite inquisitive. I like how you shaded the blue. It practically glows.

In fact, after seeing the video of the 3 riding models, it makes me think it could very well be the 200 mount achievent and vary for horde/alliance like the red/blue dragon hawks did. Black/Red=Horde Dark Blue/Gold=Alliance Blue/Light Blue= faction rep/tcg/boss drop/other achievement reward. Well.. ...

What I'm hoping is that this is the 200 achieve mount. The jake kite wasn't very exciting for me compared to when I got the dragon hawk. Plus, where as you saw 1 dragon hawk on day 1 of that patch release, you saw a bunch of jade kites, (I myself sitting on top of 188 mounts). This has 200 achieve w...

Meh, cloud serpents are becoming the new "drake" model. If they're going to introduce a 200 mount achievement, I hope it's something spectacular like the dragon hawk was at its time, not just a reused common model.

After seeing Veph's comparrison, I defiantly like the old green dire horn much better. . The new color scheme almos looks evil. I might even just get the red instead of the green now.

The blue one looks sharper now though IMO.

I guess I'll be the oddball and say I liked the other green dire horn skin better. Still, even with the new stripes, green is still my favorite.

The only thing I can remotely think of is the movie "Mighty Ducks" with their "Flying V". I imagine 5 dire horns performing their ability creating a short time immunity field within the V.

I've been lucky enough to have free space this xpac. I have 3 open slots, and of the new pets bein introduced, the green dire horn is the one who calls to me lost. That'll leave me with 2 open slots for the future.

Guess I've done pretty well at keeping my pet hoarding to a minimum. :-p

Agreed. I'm just being overly dramatic. I was so happy to get the Wooly White Rhino for 150k in trade to have my mount/pet/mini pet combo, I hope to do he same with my dire horn.
