I've been camping for Sewer Beast for over a week and now I've seen him twice, in 2 days... but both times, he's survived a whole 10 secs in total. After I start taming, the guards pop out of nowhere and killed him. It's bad enough dealing with other players but now I have to compete against guards?...

LoL I really enjoyed how the GM replied. I've had some luck with some GMs helping to pick the mood up with their replies.

To be honest, I had problems with scorpids until I went Madexx hunting. Now I use my blue for dps and green is more of a traditional tanking spec. For more of the extreme tanking, I still go with a turtle (beetle would work out just as well) or when I run pugs and tank just can't keep aggro.

I would agree Terror is probably one of the hardest to tame now as long as you're not 85. Was able to tame him on both of my hunters at 81 and that was interesting since he was whacking me for about 10k dps. Had to get tame down quick and HoTs to help out. Too much and healer aggro'ed Terror off of ...

I found Deathmaw NW of Dreadmaul Rock as well. Got really lucky and he popped up right after I got out of an instance.

I found him 18 hours after the last spawn I knew about and NPC Scan didn't pick it up. Of course, I could've also missed at least one spawn.

I'm still debating if I'll keep Rex though.

Yeah when I finally tamed Krush, I made similar mistakes but thanks to a very nice priest, I got him even with the mix ups, e.g. was in MM mode, lost 3 pets (all rare in the attempt to tame him), but finally got him and got my pets back LoL

I've been happy with it.

I had one for a little bit but wish they had more skins and a rare or two to hunt down. Fun of being a hunter for me is the quest to tame rares.
