Hey- I have a good news update!
I went back 12hrs after my morning deep frying, and managed to tame him without any interference!
I'm now a much happier dwarf.

Re: Damn you deathwing!!
Thanks for the sympathy :P I was pretty shocked, because the tame was sooo close to being finished and then we were both dead. I yelled "NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!" really loudly and woke up my fiance. I spent the rest of the morning swearing at Deathwing. Oh well, I like hanging out in twilight...

Damn you deathwing!!
I was doing my daily sweep around twilight highlands, looking for Sambas. For the first time ever, I spot him! Heart racing, I landed, eager to tame quickly as possible. Hmm did the sky just change colour? I dimissed my dear spirit beast, then began the tame. Moments before it finished, what happene...

Re: what will your new hunter main be for Cata?
I can't decide. I might make one of my 80 hunters my main (but which one!!), or play one of my priest/pally/druid/shaman.
I thought I had decided to go hunter but I am not sure =/
I definitely need to make a fem goblin hunter though

Re: Suggested Change To Exotic Pets
The entire point of BM is it about the pet and the ability to tame exotic pets. I can't agree with this statement. Yes the entire point of BM is the pet. But NOT exotic pets. BM hunters were still pet centric, interesting and fun before wrath where exotics were introduced. I find it really strange ...

Goblin female shooting animations?
I wasn't sure where I should post this. Does anyone have a video of the female goblin shooting (bow/gun/crossbow) animations? I really like how spunky (and cute!) they seem, but haven't seen those animations yet. I will probably make one anyway but I am impatient :) If you can point me to video that...

Np, I was having a little freak out about my ghostwolf becoming a spirit beast too.
Glad to see that for now they aren't. (I really prefer SV)

Re: [13241] Smells like wolf spirit (new spirit beast!)
Just to add to the conversation. No, the old ghost wolves (Grimtotem Spirit Guides) are not becoming Spirit Beasts. I just checked my beta copy, pulled out my Ghost Wolf and... He's still a Ghost wolf. http://i122.photobucket.com/albums/o270/Suzaelos/WoWScrnShot_110410_130930.jpg It's neat that the...

Re: vargul-plaguetalon?
I remember the undead pig rush of 1.11.1.. Lost an arm. Haha, me too! Well not the losing the arm part. But I had to abandon my current boar (due to lack of stable slots and needing to learn charge 6) and pretended he was the same one after naming him the same name again. Some of my guildies were d...

Has swoop always had a knockdown?
I always have avoided flappy pets, but decided to pull out a moth for fun. To my surprise, the moth kept knocking down the mob briefly (which charge doesn't do).
Is this new? or have I just never noticed it before?

Re: Is there enough of a style/flavour difference between tr
Thanks for the replies. I will try and hold off judgment until I at least feel how things are with cobra shot and aspect of the fox. Those might alleviate some of my other concerns about the class. Not sure it will dispel my feelings that each tree feels too similar. I've added my thoughts to the wo...

Hah- I think they look fantastic on a dwarf female, with the braids hanging down the back. Though they'd look best on a gnome, if only they could be hunters!

Re: Is there enough of a style/flavour difference between tr
I guess what I am trying to determine is if I should play my hunter as a main or play one of my hybrids (I have all 4 healing hybrids at 80). I know hunters have a lot of depth in terms of skill needed to be truly excellent (particularly pvp), which is something that would help keep me busy (and fru...

Is there enough of a style/flavour difference between trees?
Hi all (first time poster, long time browser), I was testing out each talent spec after 4.0 hit, and it started feeling like each talent spec felt pretty similar in terms of rotation. I'm not sure, maybe its a little bit of hunter burnout on my end, but I think each spec could be more drastically di...
