Re: TLPD Insanity
I started to feel really bad for those poor baby eagles. Also, see if one of your friends has an entire run of some show on DVD and ask to borrow it. That helped me a lot. =D

All my alts are stuck in the upper 50's. I'm dreading going back to Outlands. ;/

Re: Raiding Pets: A look back
Offtopic! @Wassa I reached the "Windserpents are king" point well before BT gear due to being an Orc. On specs: I've always preferred BM (I like the idea of emphasizing the hunter/pet bond) but have chosen it right now just for the feeling of the rotation. I like that. Being a pure DPS cla...

Re: Raiding Pets: A look back
Not only did you have 3 pet slots, but (at least while you were leveling) one of those slots was for a "learn skills from" pet. That's right, there was no pet talent trees. You had to go out and tame some pet and stand around meleeing with it for a couple minutes to "learn" a ski...

Re: Throne of tides Run...Epic 3rd Fight!
That fight can be a bastard with a bunch of casters in your group (I know my hunter groans when I remember SrS, cobra AND arcane are off limits for big portions of the fight). It's nice to see a druid remembering that we CAN fill multiple roles in a pinch. And Talu, you've still got barkskin/bear/ta...

Re: Taming adventures as soon as you can tame?
I started the game by watching my little bro run around, and one of the critters he encountered was a "winter wolf" in Dun Morogh. Having just finished a DnD campaign where winter wolves kicked the SNOT out of me and my party, I assumed they were seriously big bads and was absolutely astou...

Re: PTR: Sporebat kind of buffed?!
*waves tiny sporebat flag* WOOO Go Sporebats!! *ahem* I mean ... I know I can't be the ONLY one who absolutely LOVED these little critters' models and has been constantly disappointed by how useless they are (other than being adorable, of course). Their AE + culling the herd was actually one of the ...

Re: Stable Themes!
Spinne's stables aren't really themed ... just mostly blue/purple since I tend to like running around with things that match my char. http://us.battle.net/wow/en/character/thunderlord/spinne/pet My little Kuptai's naming his pets after Firefly chars. =D http://us.battle.net/wow/en/character/lightnin...

Re: Player speaks out to Dev's
Personally, I just think there's not enough dungeons. But then again, I haven't gotten around to raiding on any of my chars yet so who knows. Difficulty-wise? I usually run with a group of RL friends, so we communicate. Some of us have been playing since Vanilla, and one of us was new to the game in...

Re: Petopian Dungeons & Dragons Group!
If you're shy because of the role-playing aspect, don't let it hold you back! I was/am BAD at creating any sort of backstory, and our would-be GM told me just to pick a char that I would have fun playing. My chars' stories never did get all that developed (certainly not compared to others in the gro...

Not my actual name. Was a huge Firefly fan and needed a name for my first Horde char shortly after watching "Serenity" for the first time. =D On topic: More work by the author of the OP (who was apparently a well-known troll on the General Forums some time ago): http://biggerthankologarn.b...

Re: Petopian D&D Group?
1) Played DnD a couple years in college, and that's about the extent of my roleplaying experience.
2) Unemployed and mostly nocturnal, whenever's clever.
3) I'm east coast, but see #2.
4) Yup.

Things that tell me stuff: Deadly Boss Mods, Omen, Recount, Titanpanel (mostly for the durability meter, tbh) Things that make my UI tell me more things: OmniCC (puts cooldowns on buttons), Aloft (new nameplates) Things that just make my UI prettier: Bartender (action bars), Xperl (unit frames), Ice...

Re: Why do you like your class?
Other than hunter, the only class I've got more than one of is druid. I think because they're able to keep up with how indecisive I am. =D I absolutely love tanking, and druid tanking is a hoot. I was in a very very nice guild at 60 who let me tank some stuff while our guild was progressing in MC, a...

Re: Hey, Wain/Noah... a ruling please...
I don't think I'd consider having a topic along the lines of "How to tame these pets!" with detailed instructions in the first post "hidden" ... but *shrug* I guess this isn't an official WoW forum or whatevers. Blizz has banned (or made impossible) plenty of things that were amu...

Re: Guild name reported... new name more hilarious
Not sure if guild names run the same way as player names, but Blizz seems to take the "if it offends somebody, it goes" route with players' names. Not that I blame 'em, but it's still sort of odd some times. A bunch of RL friends rolled rogue alts on an RP PVP server, and we named them all...

Re: Ugh, hacked >.<
At least recovery/restoration was (mostly) painless, once I figured out to just pick up the phone instead of constantly worrying about strange Chinese people deleting my emails before I could read them. My big concern is I have no idea how they got in in the first place. From the little I know of te...

Re: Random Pondering: Pet Genders?
Very few of my pets have been female, not sure why ... My 1-60 companion on my second hunter was named after my first hunter (the first hunter a NE, the cat a nightsaber stalker that I ran my Orc over to tame at level 10), and was always sort of like having my elf running around with me ... so SHE w...
