Re: Mount Acomplishment Thread
Very nice! Congrats! It's a great looking mount, and the story behind it makes it even cooler.

Re: Mount Acomplishment Thread
Back with another tale of conquest. Over the past few days, I'd been practice-running the first part of Zul'Aman to learn the ins and outs of the bear run. As I wasn't raiding during the days of the original ZA, and because I left during Cataclysm, I didn't really know much about how the dungeon pla...

Re: MoP Devilsaur issue
Yeah, the new Devilsaurs only seem to make the motion and never the sound. I tamed multiple different colors of 'saur of the Isle of Giants to see if it was restricted to just one or a global problem. None of them ever made a noise when they did the roar animation. They all seem to have an issue wit...

Re: Mount Acomplishment Thread
Today was the reset day on my Sartherion raid I posted about earlier, so I tried my hand at the 25-man version. It took me and one other person in my guild, but we burned him down and now the Twilight Drake is a part of my collection. Looks amazing, probably my favorite of the "classic drake&qu...

Re: MoP Devilsaur issue
This was an issue with the old world Devilsaurs a while back when they first became tamable. There are actually a bunch of problems with these new ones -- in addition to the big targeting circle, they don't have a step noise for their walk cycle, they don't have an idle roar sound like the old world...

Re: Mount Acomplishment Thread
Lately I've been soloing old raids I'd never done before -- it's a neat feeling to have the strength to stand against the major characters of the game on your own, but not really know what they'll do or what to expect on the way to them. I'd solo'd Black Temple and Sunwell Plateau pretty easily over...

Re: "Getting Back Into It" with some Rare Tames
Tsiya: I'm finding that a lot of my tastes have changed since coming back to the game and I'm looking at a bunch of pets and families I wouldn't have tried when I used to play. Gives me a chance to try new things, though, so I'm all for it. GormanGhaste: Definitely looks fantastic. I like the red c...

Re: "Getting Back Into It" with some Rare Tames
Here's today's update for those of you who might be interested. I spent the last couple of days camping for a blue Portent. My first three tames were the three other colors -- first green, then red, then purple. I had hoped this would mean he'd cycle into blue next, but no such luck. Over the next d...

Re: Pet skins that are still untameable
I'm saddened that the icon for the Goat family pets is blatantly the old world Ram, and yet they're not in the family. Seems quite unfair to them.

Re: Suggestions for our Lurker.. ;)
Here's a couple of things I've been thinking about that pertain specifically to tamable beasts. First, this may have been mentioned, but I'd like to see wild Rams (and possibly Talbuks as well, if generosity strikes) included in the Goat family. I personally prefer them immensely to the Pandaria Goa...

Re: Mount Acomplishment Thread
I was out looking for Krush in Sholazar a few days ago (which was successful, but that's another thread, heh) and decided to grab an egg from the Oracles for laughs. I didn't really expect much of it because during Wrath I bought hundreds of the little buggers and got nothing out of it. Being the fi...

Re: "Getting Back Into It" with some Rare Tames
Thanks! Yeah, I've been looking at some of the information about the new rares and how to go about taming them. I do like that they're making the search for rare pets more like an actual "hunt" now -- that you have to track them down rather than just wait for them to show up somewhere. I d...

"Getting Back Into It" with some Rare Tames
I've been away from the game for a while now. It was mid-Cataclysm era when I had to put it down, and as time went on my interest started to wane a little and I stopped thinking about coming back. The announcement for Warlords, though, changed all that. I had been a fan of Warcraft before WoW -- I p...

Re: Introduce yourself here newcomers!
I return! Hey there folks, I'm back from a long time ago. Money, time and other factors forced me away from WoW for a while, which turned into a good few years as interest waned a bit. In the past week though, I've reopened my account because I'm super excited for the next expansion. So, I suppose I...

I tamed Gosh-Haldir the other day, does that count?

Find a Different Game http://www.mananation.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/12/magic_the_gathering-card_back1.jpg I cannot honestly recommend any game higher than Magic. It's easy to get into, has a rich storyline, is relatively inexpensive and is updated regularly with more cards and new functions tha...

Gorefang Twins
Found something interesting while exploring yesterday. I was flying through Silverpine and SilverDragon went off, telling me that it had spotted Gorefang. I clicked the box and targeted it, then flew a bit further and found it again! Gorefang was up twice at the same time. I killed one out of an min...

I rolled up to my local Walmart at about 1am last night and there was nobody else around. Walked up to the Electronics Department, bought one, walked out, no problem.

Re: Name that... Goblin?
As an avid rpier myself I have to greatly disagree. There is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING wrong at all using last name for a character in an rp realm. Heck you can even use 'nickname' for your character. Please reread what I wrote. You'll notice I said it's fine to use a last name on an RP server. I was simp...
