I noticed the Draenor hydras have their own sound set now.
They don't sound quite like how I was expecting them to, but still nice, regardless.

Re: Potential new hunter pets in WoD
I'm getting the impression they might eventually be around the beaches and islands in the northern section of Gorgrond, which currently doesn't have any NPCs implemented there.
I guess we'll just have to wait for a new build to learn the truth.

Finally saw Lernaea and edited some details about it into the first post.

Re: The hydras of Draenor: A curious observation.
I think know where Lernaea is now, and it's not where I was expecting. The waters off the southern coast of Nagrand near Bladefist Harbor have a variety of different Lernaean hydras there, though I never actually got a glimpse of the hydra itself due to the streamer not being a very thorough explore...

Re: Potential new hunter pets in WoD
I can't help but wonder where in the world the red hydras are. I believe I've seen every single questing area covered now, yet the only one I've seen is the rare one up in Talador's Gordal Fortress. At this point, I'm guessing they might be hiding out on one of those little islands off the coast of ...

Re: Possible new mounts in WoD
I noticed the Draenor hydras have a mount animation set on Wowhead.
Wouldn't surprise me if those giant hydras with raid boss level health ended up being the ones to drop hydra mounts once they presumably are brought into existence.

Re: The hydras of Draenor: A curious observation.
There's a rare red hydra named Gennadian up in the Gordal Fortress in Talador, being kept as a pet by the ogres there. That makes me think it might be possible that the red hydras can be found somewhere in Talador, though if they're anywhere, they'd be on the beaches and islands in the southernmost ...

So I guess it just flies while it's out of the water?

The hydras of Draenor: A curious observation.
As a member of the "No beta" club, I've been forced to simply watch streams and videos, so I'm unable to look into this myself, and thought maybe some of the hydra fans around these parts might be interested in this. In any case, Ive seen this gigantic hydra rampaging through Shadowmoon Va...

Re: Rares Vs Deathwing!
I'm curious; will Deathwing kill those of the Black Dragonflight? Judging from the time he toasted me while I was farming for a black whelpling in the Wetlands, it seems like his flames are magically incapable of hurting black dragons, as all of the ebon whelps near me when it happened seemed to ha...

Re: Terrorpene - solo tame tactics on lvl81
I was looking around Hyjal on live using my shaman's Far Sight, and noticed that Terrorpene was already visible, swimming around in the lava pools in the southern part of the zone as usual. It made me sad, since I know there's no way I can get to 81 before some random person spots it and kills it ex...

Re: Post your stables, redux!
Here's mine for the heck of it. Weird that it's showing my Lord Kri as the exposed brain model, and unfortunate that it doesn't show Chromaggus at all. I need to get around to naming quite a few of my pets, too, and I'm not even really sure if I'm going to keep the second worm and warp stalker. I j...

Re: temple of ahn'qiraj bosses/pets
It's worth noting that Skeram's mind control has a 45 yard range (Which happens to be the same as Kill Shot's range). If you're in range, then there's a chance he'll cast it on you, feign death, or not. It's pretty much the only thing that poses any threat to your survival (And your pet's). After th...

Re: Pets that can swim (and some that can't)
I get a kick out of seeing any pet that doesn't look like it would make much of a swimmer tearing through the water with Dash/Dive. I think I like wind serpents and warp stalkers the most, though. Wind serpents for the coolness, and warp stalkers for that silly-looking dog paddle they do while stati...

Re: Suggested Change To Exotic Pets
I've been for the idea of non-exotic pets getting additional abilities if owned by BM hunters since the day they announced that exotics would have additional abilities. I'd also like if they'd bother to give more pets then beetles and turtles an ability that's actually fitting for a tanking pet. I d...

Hakkar indeed won't cast his mind control if his current target is a pet.
Just make sure Arlokk is dead so he doesn't gouge your pet and stop attacking it.

Re: How does everyone feel about the pet offerings in Catacl
Right now, I'd have to say my only desires are hydras, the two untamable wind serpent skins, and secondary abilities for all non-exotic pet families if the hunter knows Beast Mastery (I want my warping warp stalker back, and I want a reason to use my cats other then for looks).

Seems that the third phase of the event has started now.
A bit earlier then I expected. Hopefully, the cataclysm will come earlier then expected, as well, since I'm itching to fill my stables.
