Re: Hunter UI--HALP!
Yeah I've given up using any kind of raid frame mods on my hunter. It's such a hassle and the standard frames get the job done just fine for her. But if you want more input, perhaps toss a screen grab up? It'll be easier to make recommendations if we know what you're looking at. :) Edit: I loooooooo...

Re: Stamina contribution - differes between tenacity of same lvl
I'd be very interested in seeing your results. I only have one tenacity pet at the moment, the spirit of Atha, and I've noticed that she's squishy as nothing compared to tenacity pets I've had in the past. Drives me bonkers. My ferocity pets seem to last longer than her!!!

Re: Combat Pets, combined with Vanity Pets
Yeah I found that hatch too. I knew enough about Lost to know it was a reference, though I had to look it up to understand the significance of the numbers (in WoW, I've still got no idea about Lost )
It's pretty cool how Blizz puts these pop culture refs into the game.
I love your pictures!

Re: Electric blue wolf needs a name
How about Goldrinn? He is a WoW Ancient... Goldrinn was a massive ancient renowned for its ferocity in battle. He resembled a white wolf-beast and was already 10,000 years old when the Burning Legion first invaded Azeroth. The wolf god slaughtered hundreds of demons before he fell in the invasion. ...

Totally off topic, but I love your name, Tårnfalk. Are you a night elf? I'd find that so suitable
I've been thinking of using Danish words/names, but I always stop myself when I remember that people will try to pronounce it... What kind of pronunciations do you get?

Heh I was actually just deciding whether to get this bear on my <Petopians> hunter once she comes of age. After hearing your story, I juuuuust might use redhawke's suggestion.

Re: Best hunter moments?
Hmm. I'd have to say my real "whoa, I'm a HUNTER!" moment was really two moments, at about the same time. I was raiding as a BM hunter, and decided to dual spec SV since our raid needed a mana battery. Going from abysmal SV dps right at first, when I had no idea what I was doing, to being ...

Re: Are you happy with the pace of Wow?
Well with the pace of the game now, those ten levels will take you like 2 hours. ;) We'll see how it turns out, but yeah, I predict massive rerolling, a flood of worgen and goblins (because really, why not?) and then oh... a month or so down the line, a mass of abandoned alts that just made it to Ou...

Re: Are you happy with the pace of Wow?
That said, I'm absolutely itching for Cataclysm to get here. I think it'll really breathe a lot of life back into the game You know, it just occurred to me that EVERYONE is going to be rolling a new alt. At least to try out the new races, but also to check out the new zones. All the lowbie zones wi...

Re: Are you happy with the pace of Wow?
Lol Karath. I know what you mean. Ever since I stopped raiding back while Ulduar was the thing, I've slowly lost interest in it. I haven't been in ICC (and probably won't, unless it's a trash-farming rep run), and I've been to TOC once, on my healer. On the other hand, right now, I'm dying to create...

Re: Are you happy with the pace of Wow?
It's funny, I was just chatting with some folks and reminiscing on how the game used to be a lot less fast paced. I remember how, back in TBC, you weren't a nob if you weren't wearing tier gear (whereas now, you might wear tier gear and STILL be a nob!), rep grinds and such weren't for achievements ...

Re: What will you play come Cataclysm? (read!)
I'm sincerely hoping that Blizzard will eventually redo the old models so they aren't so blocky. I realize it's a huge undertaking for them to change something that's been the same for so long, and having to endure the QQ of players who hate change, but nonetheless old models are really showing the...

Re: What made you decide to play WOW?
My department at the university has a research centre dedicated to game studies. One of the games studied quite a bit is WoW, and with several friends dedicating both work and study hours to the centre, I got to have a look at the game, both from a gaming and a social research perspective. I was tot...

Re: So how many of you collect minipets? :)
Sara has 98 pets . I'm getting the pug tonight, and then I don't really know... perhaps the sen'jin mask, or the sheep (I have the seals for the sheep, I just don't really like it that much. But 100 is a nice number:D) I'd love to get the pets from the collector's editions of classic and TBC WoW. T...
