Grats Xakaal! 7 hour spawn time is absolutely correct. I just tamed him! woot! or should I say Hoot!
First spawn was at 3:45 server time, second spawn was at 11:17 server time. almost exactly 7 hours and 30 minutes.

On another note while i wait... there is a small graveyard near one of Olm's spawn points with an owl statue in the center. There are also 7 small rocks surrounding it with the 8th rock knocked over. Coincidence...i think not

I will try and validate your theory tonight. Olm spawned for me at exactly 3:45 Server Time today. I was almost finished taming him when A horde hunter dropped down and shot him....needless to say I was a bit upset. So, if a 7 hour spawn timer is indeed correct, I should have my owl friend at 10:45 ...
