Re: LBRS Worg sizes
Inside instances your pet will always appear larger than other pets in order to help you to locate it during a fight.

Re: Rare and Elite Pets
It was a bug, pets normally didn’t keep their elite portraits. The bug I think had something to do with the distance and in/out of combat status of the hunter (if the hunter was a long distance away, out of combat due to Feign Death or Shadowmeld and the pet was in combat or dead its portrait and na...

Re: The 2 main pet that you choose
Really having a hard time deciding! Most people tell me to take Broken Tooth since its the “best pet”... But I would rather grab Humar the Pridelord and a Deviate Dreadfang and keep the last slot open for when ZG comes so I can tame a Son of Hakkar (for Lighting breath 6) and a Frenzied Bloodseeker....

Re: Special Pets (functional)
Elite pets had more hp and armor when tamed too if I rember correctly. Only golden elites i think. . Not silver rares .. which I don't remember if it was even a thing? Silver elite rares did indeed exist back then. They were just, well, rare. As for the increased hp and armor I don't remember they ...

Re: Special Pets (functional)
There was a very special pet on vanilla: Lupus, a rare worg in Duskwood. What made him special was that his attacks were SHADOW DAMAGE instead of physical. Of those pets you don't have attack speeds, I believe Araga and the Frostwolf were 1.5 attack speed. The Frostwolf was also notable because it's...

Re: Petopia Classic site development
I remember being an article related to the pet chase speeds (Wrote about it in the Pet related differences post). Also I remember being a couple guides for taming some pets inside dungeons, most notable the Bloodaxe Worg, the Zul'gurub bats and the Sons of Hakkar also in Zul'Gurub. There was also a ...

Re: Pet-related differences between Classic and BfA
Pets had different chasing speeds, meaning that some of them just ran faster than others. Most prominent examples were the Frostwolf of Alterac valley, with a chase speed of 240% and the Zul'Gurub bats, with a 210% chase speed. Some of them ran at the same pace (or slightly lower) than an epic mount...

Ok, first thought when I saw those Alpacas?
''Caaaaaaaarrrrl!!!'''
If they become tameable I do hope they have an ability called ''Hand Eater''

Name that Nether ray!
Normally I don't have trouble naming pets... But this little one has been pretty elusive!! Most of the time my pets have a composite name (Starseeker, Lizardguts, Sandreaver) or a proper name (And sometimes, if they had an unique name as an NPC, they keep it, like Loquenahak). He somewhat reminds me...

Still can't surpass the fact that hunters could tame a friggin' campfire for a pet.

Or why not make the existing rares designed to be hunter pets targetable ''only by flare''. Like the pandaria rares.

Apparently I have a Quiraji for a pet...
Was checking my armory pets today and thought ''Hey, let's see how my new hunta pets look!'' Lo and behold, apparently during the night my new cat, Iceclaw (Renamed Icesurfer after guildmaster and good friend) mutated into a Quiraji battleguard. Not complaining, but I am not sure if I want an angry ...

Re: [warning] A hunter from Vek'nilash keeps on killing Acro
Sadly, it's not only that hunter and only with Acroniss. I have run on several hunters and other classes killing the new rares just to spite the hunters taming them, often doing /rofl /lol /spit and /rude to the hunter that attempted to tame the rare. Seen it happen with Iceclaw, Quall, Manas, Tabbs...

Re: Razorgore in 5.1
About damn time. You would not believe the idiots that made that fight hard at lvl 70/80/85 because they didn't kill the adds or killed the boss right off the bat. Word, as a player that did BWL back at level 60, it was frustrating that people who didn't knew the fight made it considerably harder a...

Re: Razorgore in 5.1
You should be able to solo it without using the youtube video since you will be able to take on the mobs using Razorgore's abilities (And burn the eggs faster).
I only linked the video because I remembered someone saying ''Razorgore is not soloable currently''.

I generally use track humanoid/beast/hidden. And when questing I use them also to track the type of mob I am after (undead for example back during wrath or track demon during the BC)

Well... They are four colors, so the normal thing to think is that each color has a 25% chance of appearing.
