Re: Silencing Shot question
Much obliged. Sounds like that will be the new norm for trash packs I suppose.

Silencing Shot question
Sorry if this has been talked about but I have a question about the silencing shot change. If counter shot is our new interupt and silencing shot isn't a talent anymore. What is taking silencing shot's place in the talent choices?

Re: Ravage vs. Tear Armor?
Ah, in that case, I'm not sure. My guess is that the two buffs aren't going to be too far different from each other, especially for just two players. Unless you're doing heroic mode or something, I wouldn't worry about it too much. :) Just me, though; I'm far from being an epic min-maxer. ;) I don'...

Re: Ravage vs. Tear Armor?
That's an idea I threw out there as well. Only problem with that would be range issue possibly. I was corrected that the druid heals the warrior and the priest heals the paladin. Is there a flat out way to see what would be more of a dps gain for me and the tank on that fight? It's pretty much just ...

Re: Ravage vs. Tear Armor?
What other physical dps buffs are there in your raid? Roar of Recovery is also a good self-buff, so it's really what will benefit your raid more overall. On the burn phase, you'll get sunder for the whole raid again, so if you're lacking the physical debuff, it'll benefit more there. It really depe...

Ravage vs. Tear Armor?
I'm trying to maximize dps on birds during the Aysrazor fight. Just trying to figure out which pet to go with for that particular fight. If I use a ravager I lose the ferocity talent Call of the Wild which I am not sure how much that effects my personal dps. Basically the question is 20% armor reduc...

Re: Which armour set will you use?
http://i85.photobucket.com/albums/k57/rubiks-q-bert/trans.jpg So this is my final look. I found all the pieces. No cape. I don't like the way they look on worgens with the hunch they have. Some of the pieces are BoE and was able to find in the AH. The shoulders are the only piece I had to farm for....

Re: What spec do you raid in and why?
Shannox: Marks. Its just alot easier to kill the dogs faster. I don't know about that. That's one fight where I have never not been #1 in damage. Well sadly, I havent been able to have the experience as raiding with BM mainly because Marks has always been my main spec, and love playing it. But beca...

Re: What spec do you raid in and why?
I started raiding as BM recently after running as SV for most of Cataclysm (and Marks in Wrath). This was originally to let the other hunter in the raid go Marks (her preferred spec) when we needed Core Hound Heroism, but I've been sticking with it even the last two weeks when we had a shaman in th...

What spec do you raid in and why?
I personally raid in BM and I love it. For me it just comes to being lazy I think. Out of the three specs I think it has the easiest rotation of the bunch. I do pretty well at it with myself being at the top or at lease top 2 on most fights. Interestingly enough one of my guildies pointed out on wor...

The ironhide ones could be used. http://www.wowhead.com/item=15647#.LupisDarkmoon wrote:Really cool set, but the shoulders seem a little out of place. I think it's the shape - they're curved, while the rest of the armor is made up of squares and angles.

Re: Which armour set will you use?
Looking for some feedback. Specifically on the shoulders. They are the chief brigadier pauldrons. You can see the theme I have going. There are the ironhide ones as well but idk... I could go with a solid black but definetly not a solid red. http://i85.photobucket.com/albums/k57/rubiks-q-bert/trans2...

Re: Poor Anthriss.
Some people still don't understand that not all rares = loot. In the past couple days I had people ask me to help kill a rare in MF. I had to school them that they are meant to be tamed. They don't drop loot. All one of em could say is "lame".

I want to see this disengage method in action. Just sounds interesting. I used the method where I stand on a rock and he evades.

Re: 8 deaths later...
Reading around I personally found the best strategy (and it worked for me without a hitch) was to do the lonely rock method. You just shoot him, he evades but will shortly after that start his poison attack, if you have the deterence/tame macro you pop it right when he casts it for the firs time and...

Re: Skarr! (and the rest of the 4.2 family) All done!
Logged in about 5 am realm time to do a few things before bed time. I had left myself around where Magria and Anhka spawn and lo and behold the last rare I need (Anhka) is just strolling about. Strip, deterence, tame, celebrate. Not 10 seconds after I tamed it 2 other hutners show up. Just some real...

Re: So I had another hunter yell at me.....
As for the hunter who chewed you out. Well, yeah...that was a bit much, but saying you'd now go out of your way to harass him for it is a bit much too. That's just bad Juju, my friend and Karma usually has a way of finding it's way back to the creator. He's probably had one too many sleepless night...

Magria on Dentarg imo. I have seen Magria spawn 3 times and only know of one hunter with Anhka as a pet.
