That's interesting - I assume it won't come until Draenor. When they go over everything in the game to re-tune it for the itemization squish, it would make sense to apply that feature in the same pass. I had a plague mastiff before... So, in this thread it's mentioned that the way to tame pets with appearance buffs is finally dead. I've been glitch taming in this manner since WOTLK, so it's sad to finally see it go. Actually, the implication (which apparently needed to be spelled out) was that IF YOU SUCCEEDED in taming a new fire pet, you would be more likely to be banned, since the pet would still be an exploit in PvP situations. Fire patch WAS an exploited thing and you boldly said you'd tame it again after Blizz obviously didn't want us to have it and we're baffled that you want to get banned. If that's the case then why didn't the members of this forum jump on everybody the SECOND it became known, before blizz even moved...

Yeah, I don't ever think I said I exploited things. :roll: I decided to go out and see if it was possible to re-tame the fire patches using the old method, or other methods. And then somebody jumped on me for doing so. I don't get why confirming that re-taming methods do not work is such a problem.....
