As long as you can see the beast, you can tame it. :) I've done it myself. The only difference is that if the beast isn't in a flare, it'll keep walking as you tame it. The tame will still go through, though! Yay! Someone else tested it, that means I can theoretically sleep tonight. :headbang: Yeah...

Is it possible to tame the beast with but only the hunters mark on them and flare-less? (since only the hunter who applied the mark can see them) I will test to confirm late tonight. (the wee hours of the morning est, my ds-10 homeless raiders pug is tonight so that will take up most of the pm hour...

Python model snakes have had diets since Cata beta (or at least some have) but sadly they're showing no signs of making them tameable. They would be pretty cool.

Wandering around Jade Forest today and beast lore'd those big elite snakes near the bridge to VotFW.

They have a diet. I'd love a big green snake as a serpent pet. I'm just sayin'

The only thing I could see, is that as a BM, if you're going raiding, to maximize dps you'll need to bring 5 ferocity pets. With the talenting system for pets atm, that's not that huge of a deal anyways. Also, it addresses their abilities but not their spec. It's quite possible they'll have some no...
